Perfect for a scout.
In airsoft I usually run intel recon rather than a direct combatant, and this feels so much better to run with than a full vest. Just enough for a walkie, dead rag, mag pouch, extra molle pockets, and the essential patch or two. Comfy, nice and adjustable even for a thin guy like me, and best of all really breathable for all the open space on it. Double-edged sword of that is that I definitely know when I get hit, but I consider that a plus 'cause I hate the, "I hit you!" arguments breaking immersion and fun.

Outstanding for "Fuller Figured" Men
I have tried several different LBE setups. Once problem I am having is after I injured my knee... to be honest... I got fat. No more two mile runs every morning for me. I'm 6' tall and 215 pounds. It's hard to get gear fit me now because I have a gut, but no butt. I'm wearing suspenders on my pants now just to keep them up. This poses a problem with LBE because belts want to slide down and sag. When I was young and in the Army, I used the old Alice style web gear. I started out trying that, but the belt sag problem I found to be annoying, especially when paired with a backpack. I switched to a vest/belt setup. I had two problems with that. 1) The belt interfered with the waist belt on a backpack. 2) The vest created an overheating problem. (I live in SW Oklahoma where it can get very hot.) Finally I tried this chest rig. I liked the open front and back approach as it has a lot of ventilation. It adjusts to fit my ungainly body rather well. It seems very sturdy. One huge advantage of this rig is that my backpack waist belt has plenty of room under the rig. They don't interfere with each other at all. The drawback is limited molle space. I switched my arrangement from having four single deep M4 mag holders on front to two narrow mag pouches that each holds two mags. That freed up enough space for me to hold on the rig two mag pouches, map pouch, IFAK pouch, and two canteens around the waist. Left shoulder strap has a KA-BAR D2 extreme upside down, the plastic sheath fits perfectly in the horizontal retainers on the shoulder strap. I had to use paracord to tie the sheath in place to the loop on the top of the shoulder. Took all of two seconds to do that and it looks like it was made to go there. Right shoulder I have a mini anglehead flashlight. (Pistol and survival kit on drop leg platforms that are completely independent of the chest rig and do not interfere with it.) This is simply to give you an idea of how much can be reasonably put on without overdoing the chest rig. I was concerned that without a pistol belt, the weight may be a problem on my shoulders. It's remarkably comfortable considering what I have on it. Admittedly, I think my gut helps a little there. My gut takes some of the weight like a waist belt does. Someone with washboard abs may feel more shoulder strain in this rig than I do. Advantages: Sturdy Light Weight Outstanding Ventilation Comfort Adjusts to Large Body Builds Doesn't Interfere with Backpack Belts Disadvantages: Won't carry as much as a fuller vest setup (enough for me though) ------------------------ Addendum: I got the hydration bladder add-on. I was worried it wouldn't work with a backpack, but actually seems to do just fine with one. Also, even filled, the whole setup feels comfortable still.

Bang for the buck-Condor always delivers
Nice basic rig, no complaints in quality and overall design. There are always things I would do differently in this kind of equipment (front/side panels extend up a little more, for example), but Condor always offers good quality for the price. I like it's designed to attach to bladder back panel, which increases versatility. For me, I just wanted a 'grab and go' mag/gear carrier I could slip on easily and carry one handed. No regrets.

Extremely versatile
I stumbled on Condor at my local army navy surplus years ago, and ever since then I have not bought any other brand of tactical gear. I have used some of their other molle bags as saddlebags for dirtbikes, packing gear away, hiking, and they never disappoint. This chest rig is no different, extremely durable, exceptional quality, and the versatility is unmactched. Has a very wide adjustability range, so take your time to set it up with your personal fit. Pockets on the inside of the ab section are nice for small items. If you're looking for a chest rig that you can set up for one specific task, or switch configurations for multiple, this is THE ONE YOU WANT!

Slightly large
Overall a nice chest rig, although it's definitely made for larger people. The straps had to be fully taken in to fit snug on my body (around 32-34 in at the waist and stomach) but does its job well. Definitely worth the price. The internal pockets fit my extra gloves and can fit a folded sheet of paper for reference.

Good enough
A nice wide range of adjustments, but still on the larger side, probably not the best choice for folks under say 5' 6" or who have a particularly difficult time putting on weight. Modular-ish, seems like it works with some other condor backs, haven't seen any other brands that it would swap with. Straps are thick but not a nice padding, kinda hard to describe, the mesh feels like burnt plastic, the padding is like a cheap foam. It distributes weight, but you can feel the texture through thin clothes like a tee or athletic shirt and that might be an issue for some folks. Otherwise, a decent set up for the money. Typical Condor caveats, probably fine for airsoft/paintball/etc. Not the best choice for actual duty use, but better than nothing I suppose.

Great Lightweight Rig
I want to say right off the bat that this is one of the most comfortable load bearing platforms I've ever used. I'm in love with it. I'm a big guy, especially around the middle, and this comes with about 50 inches of wiggle room at the waist. Great for taller people, too, with plenty of room to adjust up and down. The rig features two MOLLE panels with 8 columns and 3 rows of webbing. In addition, there's webbing on the shoulders and the back panel, so you can secure a hydration pack (if you didn't get the modular attachment) or anything else. The shoulder straps and back feature velcro backing for patches, etc. The placement of the panels is convenient, so that you have most of your load spread out to the sides, rather than dead center on your chest or stomach. It makes laying down easier, that's for sure. One last thing, the straps have built-in velcro fasteners so that you can secure them, and you don't have to worry about the extra length flapping around.

The key for me is comfort, this ticks all the boxes. A friend of mine had bought this one, I had bought a cheaper chest rig. However, immediately after trying his on I had to buy it. Once mine arrived it's so comfy I had it on for a hour without realising. The Molle system makes this set up highly customisable various add ons you can buy. Would highly recommend there's so much you can do with this rig which again a friend of mine showed me what else you can do if you're willing to get creative. Had my first Airsoft game on the weekend just gone can only say again how great this rig was, it was an all day event and worked a treat!!

I was after a quality lightweight rig to run with my Scorpion Evo. I've been used to plate carriers and decided to go more manoeuvrable and lighter instead. I'm sure I'm going to feel the pain of not having armour, but being lighter and more airy I'm hoping a lot cooler and more flexible approach. The build quality is excellent. The seams well finished and the attention to detail on the clips and straps is excellent. Picking the right clip for the right place, to give it the bet adjustment is key. Also the strap endings with velcro is a nice touch. They wrap up nicely and keep the ends stowed away.
