Q: Does the water leak if the kettle chips ?

I don't know about leaking but there were dark chunks of paint floating in the water.

Q: How do you tighten the handle? It keeps flipping down.☹️

I haven't tried to tighten it. I like the handle on the side when I heat water so I can maneuver it and not get burned from the steam.
