Great picture but sound a bit 'tinny'.
Great low voltage, portable TV and DVD player. Some excellent features too. Picture quality is very good and sharp but the sound quality is lacking. It does have an FM transmitter which allows you to broadcast the sound to a suitable receiver, e.g. radio. This compensates for the internal sound quality by using the external radio/speakers. I don't know how this compares to other, similar spec models so difficult to judge.

Just the job
Bought this for my narrowboat. I wanted something which would provide a bigger than average screen for a boat, offer the freeview channels, have a sharp picture, be easy to tune and simple to work. The Avtex does all the above. The great feature is the automatic tuning. No hassle when you move from location to location. Push one button and away you go. Also bought the Avtex ariel.

Super Quality
This is a touch expensive, brought this for my Caravan, picture quality is excellent, have the facility for use on 12 volt battery.
