I very rarely buy serving pieces with dinnerware sets, but I decided to buy this tureen when I bought the dishes. I'm using it, along with some candles, as the centerpiece of my small dining table in the breakfast nook. It is gorgeous! I actually like it way better than the dishes.

Makes my fall table, until I realized the top just doesn't fit, at all
Update: I did love my table, until I couldn't make myself love the misfit of a lid on the tureen. No matter how I try to set/place the lid, it doesn't fit. It's driving me crazy. Good money for a faulty product. The look would have been sublime, with a fitting lid. I mean like crazy off.My fall table is so beautiful. This and the plates really made the table sing. I also got 2 small ones from replacements. I only ever set for 2. With my other pumpkins, candles and decor, it's a lovely table. Used navy blue, aqua, and pale orange as accent colors to the set. Mixed old and new for a very eclectic table.
