St Ives Leather Plimsoll

These are so soft and comfy. Look amazing on, great for summer and go with just about everything. At the end of their ware when looking a bit grubby. I decided to put them in washer. To my suprise they came out looking great

This is my fourth or fifth pair of these super comfy lightweight and stylish casual shoes. i travel the world in them, and they price themselves a great buy time and time again.

I bought these to match an outfit I wore to participate in a carnival which included dancing in front of a float on roads in our main town for two parades of about 90 minutes. I was worried that I would completely ruin these very light comfortable shoes ( as I have often done with other footwear in the same circumstances!). I need not have worried - they stood up to the task brilliantly and still look as good as new (although the soles are now a bit dirty!). You definitely need to wear a no show trainer sock or similar to stop the inner sole coming out when you take them off . The order arrived in record time - arriving the day before the parade! I didn’t even need to “wear them in” before going into action! I have immediately ordered another pair in Navy which will be more versatile for my everyday wardrobe although the orange will continue to get good use. (Photo is after 2 intensive days wear!)

I have 3 pairs of these very comfortable, very soft, leather plimsolls. I bought another pair for my best friend and she loves them. A great gift if you know their shoe size.

This is the third pair of shoes I have bought in this range because they are so comfortable. They go with skirts and trousers and are in lovely colours. I can’t think of anything bad about them even the price is good

The leather is nice and soft, they look very well made. I ordered the 7 as I normally order for my 25cm x 10.5xm feet but these are only 8.5cm wide. (Outside sole measurements at 26.2cm x 8.5cm at the widest point which is rather far from where the widest point should be) As you can see from my pictures, the toes are a bit pointy, I'm sure if the big toe was in the middle these would be soo comfortable but unfortunately i have feet as intended and my feet have toes on the inside that have not been too badly damaged by pointy footwear so this shape isn't the best for feet. the shoes are flexible (standard barefoot friendly picture of a shoe rolled up) and the leather is lovely and soft. The rubbery sole is flexible enough that I think if these where just a little short on the width that the bit that goes up the sides would be able to accommodate the wider foot but I'm not sure how long that would last for. These will be sent back tomorrow. I've tried to order the size 8 but my order was cancelled and I'm still waiting on a refund. All that being said, if I'm able to get the size 8 sent out, I'll give them another try. (Owners, you would make a killing IF these where more foot shaped as they tick all the other barefoot friendly criteria, you literally just need to make these wider with less pointy or move the point to the big toe area )

Bought a pair of these in grey while touring in Italy. Was happy to find on Amazon. Takes a couple weeks to receive, but well worth it. This is like an all leather black sneaker. Very soft and comfy.
