FiGoal Ultraviolet Germicidal UV Lamp 110V 36W Sterilization with Three-Step Timing Remote Control for Household Disinfection Living Room Bedroom Household Kitchen Hotel Germ Virus Free (Style 3)

I ordered this yesterday 7/17 and I received it just after lunch 7/18/2021. Couldn't wait to use it. And boy! does this work great. This thing really puts out the light. I wanted something to use on fresh fruits, especially berries and grapes. This thing will do the trick for everything, including the entire room -15 X 21 ft. I've been washing oranges and apples with a Black & Decker battery brush (for dishes, etc.) but nothing would work for the other stuff.. I have a tiny fold-up UV light that works with batteries or 120V, but it is too small for the almost every thing. But this one, this one fills just the bill. UVs take a few seconds to get going, they gotta warm up. The timer of 15, 30 and 60 minutes is very useful. Glad I got this. Well worth the money. Bought some UV safe glasses, too. They come in handy with this light.

Without testing, I can't vouch for it killing mold spores, but it gets rid the stale, musty odors they leave behind. I bought an old place that had strong musty odor, used this in each of the rooms for an hour and the closets for 15 minutes, and the odors dissipated. I will be re-using on regular basis till odors gone completely. Do not take the warnings lightly, do not look at the light when in operation (one glance will hurt eyes) and don't breath too much the ozone, especially if you have lung or heart condition. To operate, just plug it in (1 beep), press 'on' button on remote (1 beep), then select time (15, 30 or 60 minutes). It'll beep multiple times to give you time to clear the room before the light comes on. Close door and exit. Works great and great price.

UV disinfection works as advertised but the selectable “timer” functions don’t work AT ALL. The light will stay on for just short of 15 minutes with one press of the remote’s ON button. The light does not turn on when pressing any of the timer buttons, contrary to the included instructions.I was curious about these knock-off UV lights available so I also picked up some Petri dishes and set up an amateur science experiment with my saliva in 4 dishes and exposed 2 dishes to two sessions of the default 15 minutes at about 1 foot distance then let them all sit in a makeshift incubator for 4 days. The dish on the left in the photo was not exposed to UV and clearly shows some growth where the UV dish on the right had no growth at all (that is a reflection visible in the agar).

This product does an amazing job. I bought this because we have a crawl space and I have a lot of allergies. Easy to use, hit the remote, it counts down so you have time to leave the room and close the door of that room. Please keep in mind you are not supposed to look at the light directly. I had a pair of glasses that I had for a gel nail uv lamp. Once done, the windows def need to be opened as the smell it leaves behind is quite strong but it goes away with being aired out. I use once a week for the best result.

I returned my 1st UV-C light that had a motion sensor feature that turned off on shadows and ceiling fans which I wanted to have on to help dissipate the odor it gives off. This one quality-wise is much sturdier and I like the ring at the top to carry it around. No instructions or manual came with it so we had to assemble it on our own. It would have been nice to have a longer cord as it’s difficult to place in middle of a room without using an extension cord. There is a toggle switch on the cord itself that needs to be in on position for lamp to work with the remote. It would have been nice to have a on/ off switch and the 3 different set times right on the base of the light. Hope we never lose the remote! It does leave an odor (but then I know its working) that dissipates in 15-30 min. depending on how long it was on and the ventilation of the room.

This lamp unit comes with ZERO instructions for use. Plug it in and there is an inline switch, with no indication of what is on/off. There is a remote control with a button that says on/off, and minute settings. There is no indicator light on the unit, but it DOES BEEP. You can play with all this for as long as you get amusement from it. Very close inspection revealed that the coils in the tubes were BURNED OUT and were never going to work. Instructions for use, markings on switches and indicator lights would save a lot of time. Iwant a new unit, but NOT another one of these. Don't you buy one either.

It disinfects everything. Yes it has a high scent afterwards but that’s how UV lights work. After it’s disinfected you’re supposed to let it air out before going in. That’s how the process is. N your not supposed to be in contact with the light if you don’t have on protective gear or eye protection if you want to be in the same room when the light is on (would not recommend to do that tho) other than that it’s great 👍🏻.

i bought 3 of this item May 2022 i use 1 of the UV lamp and store 2 of it for use it later . So the first 1is fine no problem just open the 2nd UV lamp and it is a defected lamp which is not work at all luckily the 3rd 1 was fine so i have to throw out 1 of the lamp after i open it . i,m a little disappointed with this item and hopefully the over 2 lamp can last a little longer .

The media could not be loaded.  Compré dos de estás pero solamente una funcionó obviamente en cuanto llegaron probe la primera y si me funcionó prendió y todo correcto, pero la segunda lámpara hice lo mismo la prendí y como que se fundió la resistencia a la primera vez, como ustedes pueden ver el en video y en la foto que subí. Regresé la lámpara defectuosa, cometí el error de comprar de nuevo, y esta 3era lámpara no encendió, cómo es posible que de 3 lámparas 2 no hayan funcionando.
