Women in the Bible is a thoughtful, mature, and wide-ranging study of not only the stories of women in the Bible, but how readers today can properly attend to and reflect on broader questions of gender, the people of God, Scriptural communication, and the nature of God. The author is a recognized expert New Testament scholar, but also someone who can communicate the state of scholarship in a clear way for non-academics. I am so glad I have this resource as I continue to study about women, the Bible, and Christianity.
