This is our third Davinci Jayden set!
Many years ago we purchased the Jayden in espresso for our now 6 year old son (who has it converted to the full size bed currently). For our daughter we purchased the Jayden in white (currently the toddler bed set up though she will be converting to full size soon). So when we had our third kiddo it only seemed right to stick with what we know and love. This time we purchased it in the slate finish. The quality of the beds is great, we love that it's safer than other crib/beds on the market, fantastic for transitioning through each stage your kiddo will go through, and love that it comes in a great range of colors!

It was worth the money.
I liked everything about this baby crib. Easy to assemble, the design is nice and they had the color I was looking for.

Love it!
I love this crib! I was going to invest in more high-end furniture, but decided this was a better value for now. It went together easily and feels sturdy, but is light enough for me to move. Love the color and I'm looking forward to using it. This comes with the toddler rail. I ordered the full bed conversion kit directly from the manufacturer, too. The only possible con is the height of the crib feels low to me. I'm 5'6" and the front rail hits at the top of my leg, below my hip. No frame of reference, so maybe that's normal.

Nice crib, but..
I really liked this crib and it didn't have a strong smell when taken out of the box. The only issue I have with it is that the warning stickers are placed directly on the crib. They are very big stickers placed in 3 different areas of the crib and hard to take off. I tried slowly peeling it and it breaks. I am going to try wetting them first and gently scrubbing to see if I can finally get them off. Hopefully I won't damage the paint. That just has been my biggest issue of why someone would put those big stickers directly on the painted wood when they are not easily removed. Apart from that I like the color, sturdiness, and quality of the crib.

SAFETY WARNING: NOT STURDY!
SAFETY WARNING: NOT STURDY! The top bar on the front railing can be easily damaged by a 14 month old learning to pull up. The two long screws holding the bar in place are located in such a position that they will directly fall into the crib if the bar is jostled enough. Both screws have fallen off of the top bar on two separate occasions. This morning I found my son in the crib with one screw in his mouth (after the screws were re-tightened just a few days ago). The crib itself is beautiful and easy to put together, but not recommended for these safety concerns.

False Advertising
Years later, I can confirm that this product does not truly convert into a toddler bed or full-sized bed without purchasing additional components. This is not genuine convertibility. It's similar to a handyman disassembling our wooden dresser and purchasing extra parts to create a bed. While that might make our dresser “convertible” by DaVinci's standards, I think you and I would still say the company is delusional, if not deceptive. A 4-in-1 Convertible anything should include everything needed within the box in which the product is delivered. After having two kids, we’ve found the crib itself decent, albeit with somewhat challenging assembly. But, when considering transitioning our second child, I was surprised to hear my wife recoil at the idea of buying a new bed, claiming that "the crib turns into a full-sized bed." I knew this wasn't true, as I had assembled it without any extra pieces. After researching, we realized that one would need to pay hundreds of additional dollars to achieve this so-called "conversion." As far as we’re concerned, it’s false advertising. We’ll see if the FTC agrees.

Beautiful crib!!
Absolutely beautiful!!! This is my third baby and with the previous too, we got average rated cribs. This time I said I wanted something really strong and will hold up!! My boys tend to be ruff. The 1st jumps in his like crazy and the bottom spring is slowly breaking apart. The second is like a beaver. He chewed the railing all the way around! Unbelievable. Hopefully this one will be a little more gentle. This crib is sturdy and handsome. Love the slate color!! You will need an extra set of hands to put this mama-jama together.

Arrived in great shape.
We purchased this for our little one's nursery. I ABSOLUTELY love the rich grey color. As this was one of the less expensive cribs we looked at I was unsure of what to expect but the quality of the piece and the lacquer work seems very nice. My husband assembled it easily today and I love the curved side pieces, elegant. I was concerned when the box arrived as it was VERY beat up so we took photos of that before opening it, however upon inspection the crib was not scratched or dented at all. The manufacturer did a nice job wrapping the pieces for transit.
