Both rear shock shafts bent on the first jump.
Both rear shock shafts bent after the first jump ( about 3' in the air with it landing on all 4 tires). Slash vxl 2wd.I've jumped this truck over 30 feet in the air and landed on the stock shocks ( with HobbyPark aluminum shock caps) with no problems.I blew off the stock plastic traxxas caps constantly.I thought this might be a upgrade considering how well the HobbyPark shock caps worked. I was wrong. Do not buy. Total rubbish.I will try to replace the HobbyPark shock shafts with Traxxas hardened steel shafts( although they tend to break instead of bending). Or just salvage parts. The front shocks seemed to have survived the first jump.I will update my experience.

Basically aluminum ultra shocks
These seem to be copies of the stock Traxxas Ultra Shocks but made of aluminum rather than plastic. I wouldn't be surprised if all the pieces are compatible between the two. I got tired of the stock Traxxas shocks popping apart on my 2WD Stampede. I tried the Traxxas aluminum shock caps but they still kept popping. These seem to be much more sturdy. I swapped the springs so I have the white ones that came with my car on these shocks. I'm very happy with them.

great
Perfect and just as described. Would have liked it to have been greased or included though

Look good but that’s it
Product looks great but not made for durability. One shock (rear) leaked right out of the box. Had to disassemble and use sand cloth to remove a burr on the cap. Front shock rods both bent after moderate use. Didn’t bash hard but just average track use. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to drive your truck the way it should be driven.

POOR QUALITY
Looks good at a glance. Poor quality. Would stick when cycling befor and after putting oil in them. Used the same 15wt oil i have used for years and bent one shaft on the first jump. Also do not fit without modification to mounting poimts.

3/4
One of my rear suspension sounds rusty/scratchy. Doesn’t have a smooth pressure or release. Also it is much weaker then the opposite side

Springs are soft
Durability is great, but the stock springs are super soft and have no rebound.
