Great little Guitar!
Perfect for kids. My daughter wanted to learn and the flash cards make it easier for me to teach her. She tries by herself and i help her if she’s doing the chord wrong. Well made and stays in tune, I even enjoy playing it.

Great Value for Money - For All Ages
Genuinely good sounding guitar. I bought this for myself as an adult looking for a low-commitment, accessible way to see if I wanted to invest in an acoustic guitar down the road. If I played this puppy enough, after a year I’d buy a “real guitar.” Well... this is a real guitar! It took a while to get the strings tuned and stretched out, but that’s a problem most new strings have on full sized guitars. The tone is really lovely for a $150 guitar, and I like that it’s a little quieter by virtue of having a smaller body. The neck is a little narrower than a “big” guitar, but I’m an adult with large sized hands and kinda chunky fingerpads and I can play it fine. For the money, this is a great starter guitar. The steel strings and maple neck/ fretboard make this feel like an actual guitar. There was some haphazard filing of the fret edges (not all were even) and there was a chip in the inside, on one of the bridges. But none of that bothered me. I’m not gonna take this to a luthier. The package that the guitar was shipped in was... in pretty rough shape when it arrived. The USPS actually put a notice on it that said “this package was received in poor condition from the shipper.” So when I opened the thing and found the guitar intact, I was pleased and a bit surprised. When I tuned it and played it, I knew it was perfect for me.

There are $150 guitars that are much better quality
Ordered the Loog for a birthday present for my son to start to learn. The app is horrendous, doesn't work on an android phone (crashes and mic doesnt pick up notes on Android 11) or ipad without crashing, makes it pointless. Also the quality of the guitar was expected to be low and it was. There was glue dried in seams many places and the fret markers had gaps where the holes were too big for the black dots. we did reach out to the company (1/13) and got no response via email or facebook. From what i could tell they were overwhelm by the holiday rush. Honestly, i like the idea but the execution of the app, the quality issues and customer service make this a 1-star review. Also, the setup is also poor, string height is ridiculous, i cant imagine the amount of pain a kid's fingers would be in learning on this guitar.

Great guitar but
This is a great guitar but the frets are very sharp, so the quality control could be a bit better

Some defects - Amazon service did okay. Not too shabby!
There were manufacturing issues with this item and it was in a HUGE box with some scraps of paper. It is loud, our daughter liked the looks of it. She also noticed the issues quite easily when they were pointed out. With the factory strings it didn't sound to bad. Once it was tuned the intonation was decent. This item was originally slated to be $199.99 but I figure they lowered the cost due to all the issues. If you want to use the strap you'll need to attach to the headstock as it has severe neck drop; for some this won't matter. The tuners of of reasonable quality however on the one we saw (from here) they seemed to be out of alingment. The action is super high and fixing it might be an issue due to the already shallow break angle. If you know your stuff really well (unlike me who wings it or finds instructions) - you might be able to make this a very playable instrument. If the price is 130-150 you're looking at less than half the price of a Little Martin for a cool looking and possibly sounding (so loud!) little guitar with some work. Amazon provided okay service for the return. Others may not experience the issues that we did. You be the judge from here!!

Great gift
We purchased this last year for my daughter. It is good quality and the app has really been helpful teaching her how to play and keeping her guitar tuned.

Perfect beginner guitar.
I bought the smaller ones for my younger grandkids. This one I got for our 10 yr. old grandson. He is thrilled. Just got it though. Very nice and handmade.
