Nice Wide Field Binos
Very solid build with quality materials. Works well for scanning whole constellations in the night sky. Can see more stars than naked eye. There is a slight distortion around the perimeter of the view, but it doesn’t detract from the experience.

Brightens the night sky!
Description indicated delivery would be several weeks; actually arrived in about one week. I agree with other reviewers, like, WOW! This is very impressive for viewing the night sky. Took it out early when stars were just coming out. Jupiter, Saturn, Venus just visible, all showed up very clearly with these binoculars. The individual focusers take some getting used to, but work very well. I was a little disappointed to see the typical distortion characteristic of Galilean optics; however, this becomes minimal when you are properly focused. This also becomes a good indicator of good focus. They are a little heavy, very well-built. I am very pleased with them so far, plan to make them an accessory to my usual telescope viewing, to help locate objects for viewing. They seem very well-suited for this. Mine came with a very nice hard case, as well as the mentioned lens caps.

Fills a niche
No, you won't be seeing deep sky objects with these, except for those you can already see with the naked eye (e.g. the Orion nebula and Andromeda galaxy). These double your eyesight (x2). They are intended to make constellations stand out, and to have a wide enough field of view to take in an entire medium sized constellation, and they do that; for example with them I can see Sagitta and Equuleus, and all of Vega, without them I can't. But I'll probably be sending this pair back; the right lens is loose and actually rattles around. I am sure it is a freak quality control issue. Other than that the workmanship is excellent: they are attractive, solid, and heavier than I had imagined. I decided on the SVBony because they were thirty bucks less than the comparable model by Orion. But they have a slightly narrower diameter, so it's comparing apples and oranges. Two things the SVBony model has that the Orion model does not: 1) these will take a 2" filter, and 2) these can be mounted on a tripod, they have an attachment point. The most other models do not. In all it is a good product and fills a niche. I just got a bum one. For that I took off 1 star.

Unfortunately, disappointing.
The true field of view is not as wide as hoped. My goal was to be able to view entire constellations, or at least large asterisms.Even with the low magnification, the true field of view (TFOV) seemed no better than through my 7x35s, so they aren't useful to me.That being said, the quality of workmanship is very good, and they were packaged nicely. The TFOV issue is a matter of design, not of construction quality.I'm a fan of SVBONY products overall, and another user may be quite happy with these, but for me, they came up a bit short of expectations.

Excellent customer service
The item arrive timely. Unfortunately, the binocular had an 'ink mark' of about 1.4mm in diameter almost in the center of the left lens system AND in the middle of the lens grouping. There was no way to remove the mark without dismantling the lens group. Within a week or so of sending an email with a photo of the defective lens group, I had received a new binocular. Good work, customer service. Beyond this issue, the binocular seems well built and of good quality. For those using it for astronomy, I would suggest using the trick suggested in a recent Sky & Telescope review (of a different manufacturer's 2.1X42) of attaching a 1-2 foot stick to the 1/4-20 thread. This greatly increases the ease of holding this binocular since your hands and arms are now relaxed and not forced to be so close to your face. Without a doubt, the field of view is decreased if you must wear glasses (as I must), but even with my glasses on (suggestion: place electrical tape around the eyepieces to prevent scratching your glasses), there is still enough field of view for me to completely see constellations such as Cassiopeia and Lyra. I am also able to see at least another magnitude of stars beyond my naked eye limit. All in all, worth the $120.

Very unique compact style with great visibility
These are very unique and work great. The small compact size allows me to carry these everywhere. Despite the compact size, the quality is huge! These are incredibly easy to focus and are crystal clear. I purchased these because of the unique style for my boyfriend and he hasn't stopped thanking me since.
