1 and 1/8 lb Live Maine Lobster -- Pack of 4

We usually have lobsters once a year, since we are displaced New Englanders in the Midwest, and they are such a luxury item. But we felt like a lift was needed after 2 weeks of being isolated out in the woods to avoid the pandemic. We do have a lot of experience, and have usually ordered direct from different lobster shippers in Maine, figuring that they were more likely to have fresh product and get more of the profits back to the lobster fishers. I have been out hauling traps a couple of times, and I can tell you those people work hard for often-skimpy pay. But we have also run into problems a couple of times with dead lobsters, or soft shelled lobsters with watery flesh. And the price is right ordering direct from Amazon - by far the cheapest option when you consider that most lobster places will charge you $100 or more for shipping. The beauties all arrived alive on time as promised, and they were about the best I have ever had outside of Maine (I used to get lobster in Long Island Sound when I was a teenager, but now the water is too warm, and you really have to go to Maine to get good lobster now). They were shipped straight from Maine, and they really gave us a lift. Highly recommended.

My parents used to spend their summers in Maine and miss eating lobsters. I reviewed the ratings and decided to try this vendor. The were so delicious and my parents really enjoyed our mini lobster bake. Highly recommend and the prices was too bad.

For anyone who loves lobster as much as I do, my favorite food on the planet, this is the way to go. They were wonderful and as expensive as they are, they are worth every penny. We loved them for our Christmas dinner, steak and lobster, yummy doesn't quite describe it.

Very late delivery and all four lobsters were all dead for I don't know how long? So I did not took the chance of being poisoned my families so I just discarded it in the trash.

Our lobsters arrived quickly and alive, just as the last time we ordered them. I put them in the fridge, cooler and all, and they were alive a few days later when we were ready to cook them. I checked them regularly and was almost ready to name them. I felt bad not being able to feed them and having to keep them in "prison" for that amount of time. But they did taste good, God bless them! If I had a complaint it would be that two of the cold packs they were shipped on had holes in them so a little of the gel got on them. This only happened this one time. Not a game changer. Will order again for the next appropriate occasion!

The lobsters arrived earlier than expected, which was great. I immediately opened the contained and they were alive and cool. I added more ice packs on top of the seaweed, cleared an area in the fridge and placed the box inside.After home based work, they were still alive...so I chose to steam them all and an impromptu lobster meal emerges! Great product!! Delicious and affordable!
