The Lori Holt - Seams So Easy! - Seam Guide is easy to see and makes sewing easier. I can easily line up fabric. However, I have to realign it and tape it down each time I remove my tray to clean my machine or to change the bobbin.

This is what they don't tell you. It needs to be removed every time I pack up my featherweight, which I do often. The mat gets out of alignment when I change a bobbin unless I remove it so it needs realignment. It is too big to be used on a featherweight that doesn't have an extension table. They only give you four very small glue dots that are tricky to apply with no information how to apply them. Needless to say, I am out of sticky dots and have washi tape in four places which is distracting and makes for an untidy sewing bed. Alignment is not easy if you really want accuracy. Once aligned and affixed, it does do a great job which can be achieved much easier and cheaper with the washi tape with the three lines. At least they could offer more glue dots.

Love this guide! Eliminates drawing a line! A real time saver! I don’t have to remove the guide to change the bobbin on my machine. I can see where this would not be so great on a top loading bobbin machine.

I had held off on this just because I was afraid of the size and accuracy. But this has been a game changer for my quilt piecing! Get one, you’ll love it!
