Excellent game with excellent story and graphics. If you like Dynasty Warriors you will like this too, the game play is fun, if you are a Zelda fan this is a must have and you should add it to your nintendo switch/Zelda collection.

Amazing!
Now I'm going to preface this by starting with the fact this game likely is likely an alternate timeline or not canon despite how it was advertised, as it has events that would clash with canon. But aside from that, this is an amazing game with a few quibbles. If you have played Breath of the Wild, quite a few of the game mechanics from it are here including different weapon types for Link, Remote Bombs, Magnesis, Stasis, Cryokinesis, Perfect Dodge, Flurry Rush, Perfect Guard, Paragliders in the air, Shield Surfing as one of Link's attacks. But this is not the same genre as BOTW - this gameplay wise is more a Warriors style of game with BOTW mechanics added. I've been enjoying the story a lot, the fighting, the collecting items to boost characters or get bonuses. If you aren't into repetitive gameplay, this might wear on you though. I enjoy this for a few hours at a time, and find it really fun. Now my quibbles are mostly with things this game itself introduces as issues from clashing with BOTW features that worked perfectly fine in BOTW. My number one issue being that that there are weak point gauges for powerful enemies that if you wear down, let you do powerful attacks. These are better suited for one on one combat. But then fairly often you might have two or three such enemies you have to fight at once due to the Warriors framework. This isn't suited for that despite how often this occurs, it is suited for one on one combat. Hinox and Lynel and so forth were solitary in BOTW which would make it a better concept if they didn't keep throwing in Moblins and Wizzrobes next to them in a lot of levels. My second quibble is that in BOTW you get bows you can aim. And several of the enemy types in BOTW are clearly suited for aimed arrow shots. This isn't implemented well in this game because only Link has a bow you can aim, aiming it is finicky and does not slow down time to make it easier, and the spots you have to aim at are either fairly small or can go outside aiming range in the case of Hinox, which are so tall the game may not let you aim at their eye if you are too close. I've also had this issue with Divine Beasts where camera limitations mean you can't hit some enemies if you are too close. The weak point of Stone Talus is also extremely difficult to hit with most characters accurately. My third quibble is with Divine Beast content. The enemies are really really small in this, making them very hard to actually hit accurately. And Daruk's for some reason is the only one that doesn't get a shield bizarrely enough, and gets a Counter which is honestly not as useful as having an actual shield. The camera restrictions for limiting where you can aim and hit feel unnecessary as well, especially when an enemy I need to hit is also right there. It isn't terrible, but these aren't my favourite sections. These aren't major issues, but these are aspects that could have been done better. Over all, it is fun though, it is mostly just running around slaughtering as many monsters as dare stand in your way, and for me, that's a great time! So if you like Warriors style games it is worth a try!

An Epic Game
Now I wasn't sure if I would like this game, thinking it was just going to be a hack and slash, kill all enemies in sight kind of deal...but I have never been more wrong!!! This game follows the time before Breath Of the Wild when the Calamity was on the brink of starting, where Zelda and Link have to recruit the Four Champions to pilot their respective Divine Beasts. It has so much story to it, it's unreal. I love absolutely everything about it, from the map screen that lets you see all the side quests (and I'm not that far in and there is already LOADS of these) that is Breath of The Wild's map, to the playable characters and the lovely cutscenes you get which tell you more about the relationships between characters that you only got a hint of in the memories in Breath of the Wild. Now I actually haven't completed Breath of the Wild yet, because I wanted to play this one first, but I think you can do it either way. The gameplay is fast, frenetic and totally addictive, the characters are all worth playing as (Impa is a ninja both literally and in her gameplay style, she basically decimates all in her path; as does Revali, and Link and....ok yeah, all the characters I've played as decimate the field...bar Daruk, because he's a bit slow....sorry Daruk fans!!) and it's a truly magnificent thing to be able to see Hyrule as it was before the Calamity struck. An absolute must for Zelda fans. Would give it more than five stars if I could! :D

Overall Review
To clarify, I would give 4.5 stars if the option was there and I have finished the game in full on hard mode bar leveling every character to max level etc (82 hours) and finished BOTW and its DLC on normal (170 hours). The concept of this game is genius! I think this was the best way to tell the story of the "prequel" of BOTW so fair play to whoever came up with that idea. The gameplay is familiar to those who have played BOTW while delivering a warriors game experience. The story, despite its questionable but understandable ending isn't the best in the world but considering it is a warriors game was top notch (most warriors game stories are bad/non-existent) and I was happy just to see all the characters from BOTW interacting! However, there is a star missing on this rating for a reason! Controlling link in the beginning felt very restrictive and affected my experience at the start. This is not the issue I have with the game however as the norm for warriors games is that you start off with very basic combo options and unlock more as you progress. The two main issues for me were 1) the famous frame rate drops (not debilitating but noticeable) which are inexcusable for a full price AAA game and 2) all the crappy glitches I experienced that hindered gameplay. Allow me to clarify on the 2nd point. Throughout my playthrough on hard difficulty, there were undoubtedly many tense moments either fighting a tough boss or traversing a war torn map full of enemies with a time limit on my back making sure I didn't lose a sense of urgency to get to the next checkpoint. I relished the challenge this game brought and had to play several maps/challenges multiple times to complete them. There were a few glitchy instances that made these challenges unnecessarily harder though... To name a few I experienced, there was a fort in one map with a non-breakable wooden cart that through fighting enemies that kept going towards it either got stuck or I got stuck behind this cart having to hop like a duracell bunny climbing a steep mountain in Skyrim just to get out of, while a time limit counted down! Another was fighting a boss that becomes a playable character in a specific challenge. For whatever reason, the camera wouldn't stay focused on the boss whenever I stood on a slope but would instead look down blinding me from the next incoming attack! This wasn't the thing where if you walk far enough away from the target the lock on is removed btw which is annoying in itself, especially vs Hinox. There was a character training challenge where defeating a captain wouldn't spawn new enemies also which led me to fail the challenge as the aim of the challenge was to defeat 300 enemies! After a few retries it worked again though. Overall, if you can get past the typical issues with warrior games, the fact that the game was most certainly rushed and love BOTW and all it has to offer, then I highly recommend playing this game as just getting to play as the many loveable characters from one of the greatest games of all time is a treat in itself! ( My favorites to play were the Rito warriors!)

Wonderful game! SPOILERS BELOW First, let me set expectations: 1. It's not an open world game, so no exploration or anything that comes with that. Like no walking into stables and towns on your own. 2. It's pretty heavy on hack n slash. Expect a lot of fighting and saving people. What you get: 1. You get the whole story of the world before BOTW and during Calamity Ganon's take over 2. You get to play as all main characters 3. You get to play as a Divine Beast (this is tough but so good) 4. You get new elemental monsters (bloody amazing!!) You get to see all the characters and Hyrule before Calamity Ganon, so you see the Citadel and the Castle in all it's glory before being destroyed. It's truly helps you connect with the BOTW world and it's charm so I would say 100% yes to the game if you love BOTW.

Musou de la escuela de Nintendo que si bien se disfruta, la switch 1 lo sufre mucho, aunque en la 2 la cosa mejora.
