My new, FAVORITE steel-toe work shoe!
First, let me say that I DON'T need to wear steel-toe work shoes for my job, but NOW I do! First, a short back-story.... My wife is in construction, and is required to wear steel-toe work shoes / boots on job sites. For many years, she has been trying all the "regular" well known brands, often selling for several hundred dollars a pair - and ALL were not as comfortable or "right" for her foot! Then, I found these Sketchers steel-toe work shoes, and immediately she liked the fit and feel of them. So, I purchased them for her, happy birthday baby! :-) She has now worn them for almost 6 months, and loves them so much, she will wear them everywhere in "regular" life, just like normal shoes! Honestly I was amazed, she never did that with those other brands of steel-toe shoes. Seeing how much my wife LOVED THEM, I thought maybe I had ought to give them a try??? I had been wearing very expensive, very well known brand of hiking shoes for my job, and recently they got destroyed, and I needed to replace them! Well, why not buy these Sketchers on Amazon for myself, try them, and if I didn't like them, as you know its always very easy to exchange or return them with Amazon! Also, these Sketchers are about $100 less expensive than those name-brand hiking shoes I was wearing (whatever you do, DON'T tell Sketchers, I don't want them increasing their low price!). So, about a month ago, I got my Sketcher steel-toe shoes, tried them on, and my feet immediately fell in love with the gel inserts. Also, I cannot feel the steel-toe protector inside, which my wife has complained about in the previous boots she had owned before she got her new pair of Sketchers. Another "added benefit" thingy I LOVE about wearing steel-toe shoes, which I never realized before while wearing regular shoes, is with my job, I frequently have to get down on my knees to work on equipment, my big toe nails will get sensitive from the pressure of my foot being pressed into the floor.... But, with the steel-toe protection, I cannot feel any pressure on my toenails at all - which is a huge relief, as they can get pretty soar by the end of the day! So, like I said, its a bonus extra for me, and I love it! I hope Sketchers will keep this line of steel-toe work shoes in their inventory for many years to come, I am 100% dedicated to this work shoe for as long as I can obtain them. I hope my review has helped you make your decision to give them a try, I just know you will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! THEM!!! :-)

Great Protection, style and comfort!
I bought these because I need Comp Toe shoes for my new job since I work in a factory area. The only thing to be aware of is these are sized large! I normally always ware size 9's. However, the size 9 was entirely too big for my feet. I ended up going with the 8.5 wide and they fit great. The only downside is whenever I'm walking a lot the laces are always coming loose because of the weight of the shoes. So, if you work construction and have to walk a lot you might have to swap out the laces or really tighten them down! When I go for short walks around my building during breaks the laces are always coming loose from the weight of the shoes. However, they look great and are very comfortable sitting at my desk. Also, I'm not worried if someone or something were to fall on my Toe in the factory I know I would be well protected. I've had them about 6 months now and they still look great but I don't put the through much abuse and am typically sitting at my desk during work. Amazon also made the return process very easy for me and I really appreciate that.

Very Good But Not Great
I normally wear a 10.5 wide but with Sketchers Work 11 wide fits me best . My right foot is normal width but my left foot is why I need a wide , be it 10.5 or 11 in length . These shoes were stiff as a rock from the box BUT within 2 days they were cloud soft around the ankle/tongue , and shoe top within a couple more days . I wore them 1/2 a work day my first couple days then all day the following Monday forward . Traction has been as good as any work shoes I've purchased over the last few years and I need maximum traction for walking on smooth rained on or dewed up concrete often at work . They've been pummeled pretty well in just the few weeks I've had them but they are holding up like steel in spite of the abuse they've been taking . I'm 5-10 and 250 lbs who puts in about 12-15k steps a day on concrete so the insole is going to make the difference between good or great for me if all else is about equal and the insoles in these are pretty much done already , staying compressed along the ball of my foot . Unlike Sketchers of old the memory foam insoles ARE EASILY replaceable so I'll be putting some Keen upgraded ones in place of the oems. I won't change my review afterward but the shoes should be a lot more comfortable about 9 hours into the work day than they are now . If you want a pair of lightweight tank tough work shoes at a decent price take a long look at this choice but if you do buy some extra insoles with them as you're going to need them within 3 months if they're your full time work shoe . The Dr Scholls work big and fat (slight sarcasm as I don't remember what they're really called for men over 200lbs ) ones are a very good choice but the Keen G20 stay comfortable about twice as long .

JUST BUY IT. These are great!
If you're looking for a pair of work shoes that are not only durable, but also REALLY comfortable, then I highly recommend these shoes! From working in warehouses, to package delivery, these shoes have lasted longer than any other boot or shoe that I have tried. Over the last five years I have bought these 4 or 5 separate times. (There's a reason I keep coming back to these) During my time working in a warehouse, the company would provide you with a free pair of work shoes from a catalog. But no matter what type of boot or shoe I tried, it never came close to the comfort and quality of these Sketchers work shoes. After my most recent purchase of these shoes I decided it was high time I left a 5-star review. Bottom line, if you're doing any type of physically demanding job and you would like a comfortable and durable pair of work shoes, then stop looking and just try these already!!!

Skechers got it right with this "comp toe" work shoe
I purchased the Skechers Men's Greetah Construction Shoe back in March 2021. It's October '21 so I decided to review them now. These are my everyday shoes for work and general wear. The first two weeks was a breaking in period. They are heavier than your average shoes so my feet had to get adjusted to the weight. They are rather stiff until worn for awhile. After two weeks I didn't even think about the difference of the weight anymore. They appear to be water resistant as I have gotten them wet with a hose but my socks & feet stayed dry. The comp toe helps protect my feet in the industrial environment I work in. I feel like they protect my feet on all sides. The sides and back have thick soles and heavy suede/canvas. The bottoms have a great grip design. The foam inserts are getting a bit worn now but that is normal for everyday use after 6 months + Overall these are some of the best Skechers I have ever owned.

A decent work shoe but not a great workshoe
I am a DIY'er and wanted a part time shoe and not a boot to work in if I was working indoors for instance. Waterproof would be a plus if I wanted to mow the wet lawn AND I did not want to spend $100 for shoes so I did a bit of research. What I came up with was this Sketcher's workshoe. First of all I am a size 11 and from one review I saw that they run small so I bought the 11.5 Good call. Shoe runs small to size. Buy a 1/2 larger. So next is the comfort. I were them part time during the day but if I had to wear them a full 8hr day I would throw them away. They are not very comfortable and your feet will not appreciate them for more than a few hrs a day at a time. They are VERY well built! Tough and waterproof! Best featured. They are heavy since they have a carbon fiber toepiece but weight is not really an issue. They are stiff so don't expect to play tennis in them. Comfort really seems to be what they are lacking. Solidly built and waterproof, they just need to give you poor feet a bit of a holiday and they do not. They were $50 so I cannot complain really. You get what you pay for. I personally would not buy them again but it is really hard to buy boots and shoes on the internet without trying them on.

Fit his fat foot 😂
Has lasted my husband over a year with daily wear and tear. Have held up great with his line of work. We also have a hard time finding him shoes because he has a very large flat foot (size 14/15) so i will definitely be purchasing another pair.

Heavy and not even slightly comfortable (Frankenstein shoes)
I've had several pairs of sketchers with the memory foam insoles over the years and they've all been very light and comfortable. These are the exception. They are heavy, very large (even though I ordered my normal size), stiff, and extremely uncomfortable. If you duct taped a 2x4 to the top and bottom of your feet you would have more comfort and flexibility than these shoes provide. I have stepped on nails that provided more comfort. I kept them because I thought they would eventually break in, they have not after 3 months. I've now added an additional insole on top of the existing one and started wearing 2 pairs of socks and these shoes are still very uncomfortable. They say "composite toe", yet they are heavier than most steel toed shoes and boots I've owned. They are not flexible at all when you walk, so you have to walk like frankenstein (stiff legged and flat footed). I ordered the same size I have worn in all my sketchers, yet they fit like I've just put my foot into the shoebox instead. Very large and very wide like an empty boxcar, Even with extra insoles and two pairs of socks, they still feel like I'm walking around with my shoes untied. The only good news is that they are so stiff and tough, they feel like they could survive the next nuclear apocalypse along with the cock roaches. Don't buy these if you plan to work or play or walk or set or stand in them for more than 30 seconds a day. I've worn them too long to return them so I'll probably just use these for weights to do my barbell curls or to hold down stuff during a tornado and get me some shoes that are actually made to wear.

Great work trainers
I love these work trainers, this is the second pair I’m on to. Light weight, comfy and they look really nice to. They wear pretty good to

Good product
Robust design and comfortable. I understand that it’s not that light to wear as it is designed as a heavy duty working shoes.

Wide version fits comfortably for safety shoes
So far the sole is quite comfy however I haven't used it extensively. I do wish it's lighter (thus the 4 star instead of 5) But the seller is a top-notch, very fast delivery
