I bought a gold-colored eyeglass lanyard at Eyeglass World and it turned black. You have to go with real gold-plated and this brand is the one. Good selection. Only criticism is it is longer than necessary.

Beautiful, well-made, functional--but could use 2 tweaks
I really like the quality of this eyeglass holder. The chain is lightweight and very flexible, and I really like the Tree of Life bangle at the top. That said, the 2 triangles down below stage easily and are sharp edges so I must be careful not to scratch my neck or face when putting on/taking off. This could so easily be resolved if they substituted 2 round Tree of Life bangles for the sharp triangles--it would be even more beautiful and the round edges much safer. So far the silicone snuggers are holding firm, but for me the length is just a little too long. I'd prefer to specify a length like I'd do with a necklace chain.

Stylish AND functional!
I bought this chain for a trip to Key West with girlfriends and I was so pleased with not only its stylish feel but its functionality. The metal material is lightweight and so many times I forgot I had the chain on. I used the chain with a pair of metal framed aviators, which have a tendency not to stay atop my head when I’m not using them. The chain was a perfect solution to keep the glasses accessible when not using them.
