The color is just right. Stays on.
A crazy homeless man threw a very large rock at my car and hit my tail light. I got an estimate for $1600, but I said no and I'm going to live with the dent in the paint, and patch the tail light myself. The vinyl sheet comes tightly rolled up, but it's rolled so that if you cut a small piece, the corners curl away from the adhesive. This could be why some reviewers say it comes off quickly. I tried to un-curl it a little, then I stuck it on my tail light. I took the whole roll and un-wound it and rolled it up the opposite direction to see if it would flatten out the vinyl sheet. I'll let you know if that works. If the first piece peels off, I'll try to flatten it out more before applying it. The color is just right and it is thick and seems like it should last for a long time.Update - this stuff works great! I stuck a small piece on the hole in my tail light, and it has not moved or come loose in about a week of rain and cold weather.

Multiple uses!
This was exactly what I was looking for (though way more than I needed lol). Got this for blocking some of the harsh b&w light on my baby monitor (too harsh on the lowest setting even at night), and it works super well! Makes the light more pink/red. Helped a LOT those first few weeks with all the middle of the night waking up & feeding once he was in his crib, especially, and still does! Super easy to cut and apply. Not sure about residue afterward, but great so far. Will use more for seeing the synchronized fireflies in June!

It doesn’t get the job done.
Used to color my fog lights. Was a huge pain to apply, but you can get it done well with patience. Sadly I can not recommend to anyoneThe red color will fade very fast.Used this tint on a few light fixtures, car fog lights and tail lights and all of them have faded to an off pink/orange. You get what you pay for. Low quality for a low price. If you want to redo the tint every few months then this is the right product for you.

Not worth a dime or the time.
First off, i have a lot of experience with vivvid and 3m films. In just the past year, i have wrapped 5 whole cars and more than 30 vehicles- tail/head/fog/accent lights and interiors. That said, this is probably the worst film i've ever used. The adhesive separates from the film very easily, which means whatever you are applying it to will be covered with the adhesive lining when it pulls up(and it will). It doesn't stretch/heat as well as the other brands. I tried different methods, from slow and low heat to fast and high. When none of that yielded acceptable results, i just stuck it to a dirty (uncleaned)window (with no heat and room temperature of about 77°)... peeled the film off after it sitting there for a minute.... adhesive stuck to the dirty window and the film was almost completely free of adhesive. After that, i cut a 4"x4" piece of film and held onto it with both hands while rubbing my thumb in the same spot. By the 4-5th pass, i was able to roll the films adhesive right off the film.

Great, but for a Strange Use Case
So, I am going through my bedroom and tinting all of the stupid green and blue and amber LEDs to reds. This stuff is cheap and works perfectly for this. I can cut to size, peel, stick, and trim, and everything is now in a red spectrum. I have covered all power strip LEDs, phone charger LEDs, LED clock radio displays, BiPAP and O2 concentrator LCD panels, as well as the water level check view port on the BiPAP, which can glow blue when cold. Dumb that a sleep assist device would use anything but red, but this fixes it.The stickiness seems great. Even if this stuff begins to peel after some months, there is enough here to redo everything several times over, so I am OK with that. It really seems good, though. There are two clear plastic layers. The outside layer is covering the glue. The amount of light which is allowed through is awesome. I have switched from the cheap "brake light bandaid" tape that would never allow enough light through. There has been one super bright LED on a power button that required that I double up with this tint. That was all. But, when it only takes 1/2 x 1/2 inch of material, no big deal. Our sleep has never been better! If you are interested in the reasoning behind this, search for "red blue light circadian rhythm". It really does matter.
