Cheap Construction.
My son (who is 26 months) loves to push things, and he loves anything with wheels. He has a sensory condition where it's good for him to push heavy things around the house. I was using a laundry basket, but wanted to get him something with wheels that would be more fun to push around. I came across this lawn mower and thought it would be good for him to push. I knew it would be light, but also figured I'd weigh it down with hand weights. When I got it, I was pleased to see that it could be easily folded for transportation (thinking we'd take it to the fenced in park). When we test drove it around the house, I was discouraged that he was able to push the handle forward. We took it outside, and he kept getting hung up on it because the handle would bend so far forward that he was practically tripping over it. I had a hand weight on it, which gave him great resistance, but now I'm thinking I'll put a bag of rice on it and see if I can center it over the bottom of the handle so it doesn't go forward. So, the folding capability is what hurts this mower, and what I thought would be perfect. If it didn't fold, I believe the handle wouldn't bend so far forward. It's cheap, it's made in the USA, and it'll hopefully serve our purpose. If not, we're out $12 and that's not horrible. Also, the one we received wasn't primary colors like the one pictured. Ours is a little ugly. It's green and brown with red wheels. It does have some moveable parts, and the description states it makes motor sounds. It's more like the wheels are clicking, which is something, but doesn't sound at all like a motor (picture the sound a playing card in a bicycle spoke makes as you peddle). My son likes it, and with modifications, I think it'll be perfect for what I bought it for. Just beware if you want a durable toy for a bigger kid, or a taller kid, spend a few extra bucks on the fisher price model.

Cute!!!
Not the color we expected but the boys love it! Tots a great size for my 2yr old, and my four year old is currently driving it around with joy! Is it like the $40 ones? No...but it’s a darn cute toy for the cost! Lower stars only because we were pretty excited to get purple and wound up with red, and wish it was a little heavier to it pushed better. We had a busted toy and this was a nice replacement before Summer ends!

Meh...
This little lawn mower was inexpensive and that really shows in its construction. I was pretty disappointed when we pulled it out of the ridiculously over-sized shipping box in which it arrived. The handle sits up too high, at a 90 degree angle, so it was difficult for my 20 month old to push it across the grass. I *kind of* fixed that by cutting the little plastic tabs off the back of the mower, down my the base of the handle. I wish I would have spent the extra money and got the Fisher Price mower. However, my son LOVES this toy. He doesn't know its cheap and poorly made, lol. He plays with it all day. So I suppose that is what really matters in the end. :)

Cheap fun
We love this toy. Bought the same mower for my five year old three years ago from a second hand store. It held up for three years (plus however long the previous owner had it) and finally gave up the ghost this past summer. Bought this one to replace the first one for my now two year old. I love it because it was inexpensive. Several reviewers have commented about the cheap plastic, it is flexible, but seems to hold up fine. Both boys have loved pushing the lawn mower inside and out. Would definitely buy it again.

Fun toy
So i have twin 14 month olds and they played with this exact lawn mower at a friends house. When we got home, we found it here on amazon and ordered one. First, even though it says colors my vary, I wasn't expecting the colors I got. Orange with purple. That doesn't bother me much. The toy is simply and makes a clicky sound when pushed. The materials are cheap and it feels that way. I feel as thought the price point is a little high considering how thin the plastic is. And since kids have a tendency to stop playing with something after a short time.

That's All that Matters ...
When I received this toy lawn mower, I was very upset of the cheap quality. You really get what you pay for and for $12 bucks, I couldn't be that upset. I couldn't believe how light it was; I mean there is no weight to it at all! BUT when I tell you the my 2 year old son LOVES this lawn mower - I mean he drags it every where! He even tried to sleep with it! SMH! So, even though I hate the quality of this toy, as long as he's happy with it ... that's all that matters!

Took two stars off because it should be priced around $7
We received the lawnmower today. The colors are different - where it shows blue in the picture it is red, green where it shows red and tan where it shows yellow. I actually like it better as it is a tad more realistic.Yes, it is very lightweight but it looks like it will hold up pretty well. My son seems to like it. He gets bored with toys easily so I didn't want to buy a more expensive lawnmower. So overall it's OK but it should be priced around $7.

My son loves it.
I got this for my little boy since its starting to get nice out and he needs some outside toys. He loves pushing it around and he likes that it is light enough for him to pick up. It makes clicking noises while he pushes it so it sounds like it could be running. Overall I think its a great toy. Haven't had it very long so i dont know how durable its gonna be.

A cheaply made product.
Not what the description said - it weighs about a pound and is cheaply made. The 'engine sound' is a small two inch plastic pull cord with teeth that makes a very quick plastic 'rubbing' sound. I was very disappointed, however, my one year old grandson likes it. But it's great for one year olds, not any older in my opinion.
