I don’t normally do aftermarket parts, but as my vehicle ages, new GM parts are becoming harder to find and salvaged parts can be brittle from being in the elements. Because it has several tiny clips that tend to break, I decided this replica part was a better choice in my scenario. This will fit new body style 99-02 Silverados and 00-02 Tahoes (and their GMC counterparts). It will not fit the old body styles that carried over into these years like some of the HDs. Make sure you have a square hazard button. Be sure to install the top piece first, because the screw that holds it down can only be accessed from below near the key. Highly recommended!

I'm glad that trim fits my 2002 chevy s10's steering column.Just be mindful of the screw under the top half of the cover near the ignition cylinder lock.Then the bottom half hooks onto the back of the top half and snaps on ,and 2 screws go in the bottom.Fits as good as the original.

Unfortunately I can't return as I didn't get to this part of the truck fix until after the return period.However, this does not fit my truck as described that it would. The first issue is the hole for the emergency lights switch. My old one is larger and triangular opening, this is smaller and more square.My one star review is only due to the description stating it would fit my model year, and it doesn't. Other than that the product was shipped quickly and well protected during shipment.

Fits a 2000 gmc serria yes it does take about 10-15 mins of trying to get it on but as long as your easy with it and don’t break it it’ll go on

This is no longer serviced by gm. Its a great alternative with good fit and oem look it fits several gm models with automatic trans

I like that my truck’s interior looks sooo much better; the part really revitalized that space in my truck that had been taped together to keep the initation case in place.
