Beware of Interior Mold
After about one year of use, interior mold starting to develop in the top of the picture. There is no way to get into the interior of this part of the picture, as the attached picture shows. Do not know what caused this; kept excellent care of our picture; filter change, cleaned as prescribed etc. I have discontinued use of the pitcher until I hear back from the company with an explanation, if any.

Beware, mold forming.
I've had this pitcher for a year now. Have always cleaned interior, as directed, with vinegar at every filter replacement. Have now noticed mold forming between the plastic liners in the top part of the pitcher. There is no way to get into this area to clean. Don't know if there is a leak somewhere allowing water to access this area as there should not be any water in this area. Would not recommend this item.

Unbelievably Slow
I think the water is a bit better than what Brita does. I'm mostly interested in getting the high chlorine content out of city water. Brita pretty much did the job but I thought if I was going to go through the process of filtering the water I should upgrade. It's too slow to be practical on any level. You can fill the reservoir, which is pretty small, and make dinner and it still won't be complete. Brita may not be as good but it I fell it is sufficient. The pitcher design is also pretty poor. It splashes everywhere and the part where the lid closes is sharp. It actually cut me.

I love this water filter pitcher
I love this water filter pitcher! It is NSF independently tested and approved. Consumer Reports, an independent testing organization, rates it the highest by far of all water filter pitchers and Brita isn't even on the list (maybe it wouldn't fare so well so they don't send it in for testing). Easy to fill with water, just open the top and fill it. It does take about 10 minutes for the water to filter through but I always keep it full of water in the refrigerator so that is not a problem. I love the indicator that shows green, yellow, or red to let me know when the filter needs to be changed and it takes a long time before a new filter is needed.

Good enough
My second one of this pitcher. The first lasted about a year before water became trapped between the inner and outer shell. Both pitchers had inoperative filter change indicators, clearly a poor design. It makes good water and a new pitcher comes with a filter.

No funny taste!
We recently moved to a new state, and despite my faithful Brita, the water had a funny taste to it. My husband and son flat out refused to drink it and I was spending a ton on bottled water. I was looking into other purifiers when I stumbled upon this one. I had never heard of the brand but saw great reviews and decided to give it a chance since it wasn't too expensive. Man am I glad I did! Right away I noticed a difference in the taste of the water, no funky after taste! My family loves it and I no longer am wasting money on bottled water !

Not great for heavy usage
Been using the Cler2O pitcher for almost 3 months. It is simply too small, not enough capacity. We're constantly filling it, and gravity filtering is slow process, compounded by a small reservoir, taking two fills to fill the pitcher. The edge of the reservoir lid is somewhat sharp, so it is uncomfortable to open. Not a fan of this product. Can't comment much on taste - primarily use it to add water to a single cup brewer for coffee or tea, not using it for drinking water. Probably fine, liked the filter specs and reviews when we bought it . . . but filtering and taste are table stakes for a purchase.Rather than spending money on replacement filters we will likely go with a different filter with bett

Waste a lot of water.
I ordered this because Consumer Reports gave it their best overall score. I was surprise to read that the filter needs to be rinse before using. But what really turned me off is then I read that I need to fill the water pitcher three times, and discard the water every time the filter is replaced. It takes alot of time to fill the pitcher, and also wastes a lot of water. I will keep using my Zero water filter.
