I purchased these to make crushed ice for Bar drinks. They work great. I put my ice cubes inside, fold the top over, grab my mallet and POUND away! Once I have all ice crushed I just store the bags in my freezer and they are ready to use. They are very tough and rugged!! Best thing to make crushed ice

Our family loves crushed ice. After buying two different countertop ice crushers with a manual crank - each of which lasted maybe a month before breaking - we switched to the mallet method. We’ve been using the canvas bags for well over a year, multiple times a day, and they’ve held up beautifully. We’ve had to replace one or two here and there but it’s an easy, economical and practical way to get the crushed ice your heart desires without taking up counter space with a manual machine without any staying power.

These bags really work but they are small. Wish they made a larger size so you didn't have to crush ice multiple times in the bag.

I use these to store large iceballs and Cubes in the freezer for bourbon drinks. Perfect!

I dont have a fridge with crushed ice, this with a blunt object, i use a meat hammer, and i get a great serving of crushed ice. Makes a difference.
