Great microphone for someone starting out
I had one of these previously, it was unfortunately stolen during a robbery at my previous home. I have just since now gotten around to getting a new one. I'd forgotten how good it was so thought it was time to leave it a review it deserves. For the record however, this mic is vastly improved when going into your mic settings in windows and setting it to a value lower than 60%. This vastly improves the overall audio quality and seems to cut the interference. I'm not audio engineer so I'm not sure why this is, but it does work.I use the mic for recording vocals and micing and amp for recording guitar. For this purpose is works very well, provided you have some knowledge about how to correctly mic an amp. Some time spent on Google or YouTube will help you out there. This mic works very well with both audacity, and ableton. Audacity recognises the mic immediately and recording is simple and quick, with Ableton you need to tell it and set it up with drivers etc. Again. Google or YouTube is your friend here however I don't feel as though it would take more than 5 minutes to figure it out yourself if you are familiar with ableton. The mic itself has a great build quality, with the small stand and filter that come with it feeling very high quality for the price point. I did not have any quality issues with my previous one after having and using it for over a year. I don't forsee any issues arising with this one either. It being USB-C is a nice bonus for beginners who may not want to shell out for a scarlet and a midi microphone, cable etc.I know some people are probably looking at this for use with streaming. I don't see why it wouldnt be a great choice for that, but you might consider the fact that you will likely need to buy an arm mount to hold it for you as the tripod is small and will likely take up valuable desk space. If you're still wondering if you want this, I'd say you can't go wrong.

Excellent microphone for Online Video Calls / Zoom etc
Bought this to augment the work from home setup as the built in mic in the WebCam was Okay but wanted to cut some noise by having a specialty mic closer to me when I am on calls.I have this just behind my (loud) mechanical keyboard and it picks up very little of my harsh typing.Voice quality apparently is great for those on the other side of the calls and it plugs in directly into a spare USB port.It could be a bit smaller but for the quality I will forgo that.I occasionally unplug this and put it on another computer used for online kids music (violin) lessons and the teachers really notice the quality difference between this and the builtin webcam mic. Also being able to bring the mic closer to the person while standing away from the monitor / tv/ webcam etc makes a big difference. The stand has been sturdy enough and there has been no issues with picking up sounds from thumping or bumping the desk or any noise with the table moving or anything - its well isolated and mostly picks up the voice.Wish it was a bit cheaper but really worth it for those looking to bump up their audio quality for online calls. I dont record podcasts but guess this would work awesome there as well. Highly recommended as an entry level into condenser mics!

Decent mic which wonโt break the bank.
Nothing is perfect in this world especially electronic equipment. This little mic with either the tripod or arm is just perfect for your little narration projects, podcasting or streaming. Itโs just a simple plug in job which works straight out of the box and the voice quality is pretty darn good. Itโs looks decent as well. Good value for not a lot of money.

Great Vlogging, Conference or VO Mic
I wanted a decent mic for delivering online tuition through a video conferencing system, plus being able to add commentary to materials that I might produce. This is a neat USB condenser microphone with the pickup at the top of the mic, rather than at the side. This makes the mic very unobtrusive in use.I have it connected to a Mac via a USB hub. It appears straight away in the list of input sources to choose from, and a simple click has the mic in use. This comes as a kit with a dedicated and adjustable shock mount, with a screw attachment to the provided tabletop tripod. The mount is firm and the tripod is pretty sturdy and heavy for its size. A pop filter slides into a holder on the shock mount to complete the setup.I have tested some cheaper condenser mics in the past which have a very noticeable background buzz that is included in recordings. I have been using this Tonor mic for a while, both in class and in simple Quick Time recordings to test the audio. The mic produces a clear and rich tone with no sign of interference. on the recordings, or reported by students. For what I need from a mic, this is just the job.

Probably perfect as a very first mic
After reading so much positive reviews about this mic I decided to take the plunge given it is so cheap. Here is my 8 months in review. Is it amazing? No. Is it absolutely terrible? Neither. It's somewhere in between. For streaming and podcasting it probably is perfect. For recording music... Not so much. Considering the price, the sound is decent enough on spoken word. So if you're looking for a very cheap first mic to do meetings or streaming then this might well be the perfect fit. For more advanced tasks like recording vocals and instruments then I'd steer clear and probably invest a bit more money.I specifically bought it for music and recording demos on the go on my iPad when I don't have access to my studio desktop. Since I already own two studio mics I could easily compare it to the sound of my SM58. It does actually work great with the iPad without any power supply, so that could make it great for podcasting on the go. But after nearly a year of trying to integrate it in my own workflow I have to say it just didn't cut it. The mic has to two major dealbreakers for me. 1 is that if the mic gain is anything above 60% it is horribly saturated and peaky... Which just so happens is its default setting. And even then, when putting the gain much lower the mic somehow still clips and saturates the incoming audio when you're up close. Even whispering close enough to the mic can trigger some distortion. This is really bad for close micing vocals, which considering the price range of this mic would be a typical use in untreated bedroom studios. 2 is that the sound is lacking a LOT of low end and mids, which can make it great for certain voices and spoken word maybe, but unusable in my case. Especially on acoustic guitars, this mic sounds tinny and harsh. Shame.Of course I didn't expect it to stand up to the SM58 at this price, but it honestly just doesn't even come anywhere close, let alone compared to higher budget mics, whether USB or XLR.All that being said, for online meetings and streaming this definitely would be a step up from your in built phone or laptop mic if you're on a very small budget. If you have an extra ยฃ30 to ยฃ60 to spare though I'd recommend looking into slightly more expensive mics.

This is the mic you're looking for.
Honestly, if you're looking for a mic for general everyday use; look no further.Wanted a mic to use on Discord with my friends since using a headset for several hours started giving me headaches. Not to mention how annoying it is to have to put an entire headset when you just wanna sit back relax and talk with friends.Wanted a good quality easy to use mic and that's exactly what I recieved. Packaging was very neat and good quality. The mic was quite literally plug and play. Just plugged it in to the usb port and voila!I don't see any reason why someone would Perfectly prices for its use and exceeded quality expectation.
