Wow, this is great
This machine is great. I've had it for about a year. I love how I can grind fresh beans or use the other part with the grinds. I thought the compartment with the beans would be a pain in the neck to clean but it's really not. It's just a very few minutes to clean out. Don't just rinse it. Use soap & water. I love it. I put on the timer for the mornings. However, the grinder scared the crap out of me the first few days because its loud when the house is so quiet in the morning! Lol. Enjoy!!

Best coffee maker
Best coffee maker, it is a pain to clean but good coffee is definitely worth it. I own one and just bought one for my son's new house.

No longer the premier brand it once was.
This is our fourth Cuisinart grind and brew. The quality of the product has deteriorated over the years. No longer sturdy carafe and lid. Makes decent coffee. Difficult to clean and it's hard to figure out the whole process. Even when not brewing coffee you must have everything in place or it beeps constantly. Will see how long it lasts.

Easy coffee maker !!!
I absolutely love this coffee maker! Having the built-in grinder is a game changer for fresh coffee every day. It is incredibly easy to use and simple to clean, which makes the whole routine stress-free. I genuinely look forward to my coffee every single morning now. Highly recommended

What to look for regarding packaging!
I ordered a Cuisinart coffee maker, and it arrived today. I started to open the outside Cuisinart it had already been open, as had the inside box, and when I pulled it out, it was fully assembled including a cord hanging out. I was not happy, this product had been assembled and start up and plugged - only was wrapped. I did not get this on sale - this product had been returned and no one seemed the check the packaging. I am extremely frustrated with Cuisinart for sending me product that had been opene, and they didn’t bother to repackage it, and checked to see if all parts are there. I’ve only used Cuisinart for 30+ years. Very disappointing, and I ordered it on 6/28/26 and it received on 7/15/26. Seems like plenty of time to have sent a new one for $119.95. I am very cautious about using a product where everything is unwrapped and you know others have done heavens knows what to it. I enjoy 95% of the product I receive from Amazon, but for it to take 19 days to deliver, from Cuisinart and not be packaged is disturbing. Sadly, this is a good product and I trusted Cuisinart or Amazon to send me one that not been opened and assembled. It was replacing the exact coffeemaker we really like! If you order one clean it thoroughly- I found fingerprints throughout.

COFFEE ... Need I say more 😀
Some call me a coffee snob.... I beg to differ, i'm simply someone who truly enjoys that one cup of coffee that I drink daily. I'm not a coffee drinker to the point that I drink coffee all day long, simply cannot do that. I have one cup in the morning while I'm getting ready for work.. that's it! I guess the snobbery comes in because I will only drink one particular brand of coffee, and while I have tried others, I have found that this one satisfies my one cup a day coffee needs 😀 What does this have to do with this coffee maker, you ask? Sit back and relax.... About five years ago I was visiting my niece in florida and she had a Kuerig of course, who didn't have one at that time or even now right? Anyway, That was all she had. So I purchased pods from my favorite coffee company Caribou (mahogany), and it actually tasted pretty darn good so we decided we were going to break all the coffee snobbery rules and get a keurig coffee maker.... 4 Years later and five keurig's, we decided we were done and it was time to go back to brewing our own coffee. That being said, I wanted one that gave us the option of grinding whole beans and brewing pre ground coffee...enter the Cuisinart dual brew machine....... Now who doesn't love a good French press, and while this is not a French press, it offer similarities in that it grinds the beans fresh in the morning before it brews the coffee! Amazing right? The other great thing about this coffee maker, is that it also brews pre-ground coffee. It has a timer to set it to go off at anytime of the day or night, and the heating pad is programmable to stay on for more than two hours! So far we are quite happy with this coffee maker

New model but worse than previous
This is a newer model of the one I have. The grinder pitch is so high on this one. It hurts to hear. And I don’t like how the beans and water share a lid, which is unlike the old model. Inevitably they spill into each other. Also, unlike the old model, there is no alert when the basket needs to be emptied. Bummed and will return.

An excellent choice. You won't be disappointed
In researching various options, one of the first videos I saw said you can't use both a paper filter & the basket filter simultaneously. That is uncategorically wrong. In fact, I recommend both, & I will explain why later. Another review that I read said that the lettering wore off the buttons. I have had mine for a year, with no problem with the labelling. I read a review that said it is loud. Spoiler's alert. It's a burr grinder. ALL BURR GRINDERS ARE LOUD. I own several different varieties of burr grinders, & never has any of them been quiet. The good news is that it only grinds for 30 seconds (Yes, I timed it). So, it is a minor inconvenience. And finally, removing the lid is easy, despite what one reviewer wrote. All lids have little tabs on the flat extension. Remove the lid by pulling on those tabs. You just have to know the best place on the lid to do it. I owned the precursor for this model & after nearly 10 yrs, I had a problem with a part that was no longer manufactured by Cuisinart & the third party replacement part was defective. So, I went with this model. It was a good decision. They made some design changes which improved the unit. It does everything it advertises, & does it well. It is also well constructed. The programing for the clock & the programming timer are intuitive Okay, as to the paper filter, I have included some photos. NO BASKET FILTER will completely prevent some ground coffee from permeating into the carafe. Unless they prevented water flow completely. So, add the paper filter around the basket, & it will capture the slight amount of grounds from dripping into the carafe. In closing, this is an excellent machine. And I suspect that it will be another decade before I need to write a new review.

Love my Cuisinart DGB400
We have had a few Cuisinart’s for many ,many years and we love that coffeemaker! The company stands behind its product always! Never had a problem with a return when the need did arise & therefore why would we change for something different! We love the grind and brew, excellent coffee ,easy to use, easy to clean & frankly we are used to the sound of the grind! It is loud ,no doubt about it, but we love this coffeemaker & not changing because it’s a bit loud!!!

Cafetera qué da gran sabor a tu taza

Good Coffee Maker/Grinder Combo
It’s a well made coffee brew/grinder combination. However, like many of the glass pot coffee makers on the market, the hot plate isn’t adjustable.
