Looks good but could be easily broken.
The lock looks good and installs easily. The post the bar latch attaches to is too narrow. My original lock was in a vehicle fuel door that was pryed open. This looks like it would more easily fail.

Great replacement for my safety box
Easy to install, an remove key locked and unlocked, black paint is not good already peeled off but it is place hidden so not for a beauty contest, if your is out and can be seen it might be a issue for you

Can’t remove key in opened position.
It locks. Really annoying that you cannot remove the key in the unlocked position.

Dont over tighten
Dislike cuz when I was putting the nut on the back it cross threaded really really easy right when you put the nut on and it just it broke

Looks and works perfect for my fuel door
With rising fuel costs, I wanted to secure my diesel tank. I simply drilled a hole in my fuel door, vinyl wrapped it and secured the cam lock using the supplied nut. It holds strong and the key operates smoothly. Overall, I'm very happy with how this project turned out.

Orientation flexibility is great.
The flexibility in how the lock and unlock position can be changed is great. I actually ended up placing 3 different orders for a total of 4 locks for a IT rack mount case. Having all of the locks keyed alike made this purchase even better. All of the locks were just a bit rough to insert the key and turn but a very small amount of WD-40 did the trick!

Does the job!
It was a replacement for an existing lock that I had lost the keys to. This one uses a tubular key which is much stronger. Only problem was the tightening nut would not tighten but kept slipping. I used the nut from the old one and it works fine.
