Passes the stretch test, passes the consisten quality stitching test, passes the body shape test, passes the comfortable material test, passes the multi-season test (too thick or thin during summer/winter), and passes the price test.I cannot tell you what a miracle it is that I found a legging online at this price that fits and feels like these do! I’m 5’ 10, 169lbs, have dense muscle and a solid layer of squish all over, and have an fairly difficult body to fit (31 - 30.5 - 37.5) with almost no waist line - 2-finger space between the top of my hips and bottom of my ribs - long hips, and a full rump. My thighs are 26” and my calves are 16 1/4” (so no tiny ankle openings will work).I bought the large full-length in Black and Green, and a large in the bike shirts in black, and a large in the Capri cut. The fabric in these shorts is fabulous - it is buttery soft, with just enough stretch. i use them for tennis and despite all the movement on the tennis court and stuffing balls under the legs they do not succumb to roll down on the waist or roll up on the legs. The fact that I've bought 5 pairs shows I'm a fan. The reason for the three stars, and not five stars, however, is the completely inconsistent sizing. As can be seen in the pictures, despite having purchased all five in the same size, no two are actually the same size in waist or in leg length. The black are the largest and the waist of the green ones is four inches smaller (the others fall somewhere in between as shown in the pictures.) Similarly as per the second picture, the leg lengths are inconsistent and not in sync with the inconsistent waist sizes (e.g. the green waist is the smallest waist but it has the longest legs.) I think part of the problem lies in the fact that they are repackaged before shipping - they come in nice individual ziplock pouches with a rectangular sticker indicating the size; however if you remove the rectangle sticker there is a round sticker underneath it indicating a different size. I am going to purchase another black pair and will update this review if there is at least consistent sizing between colours.

Size: I am a size 6 in LLL leggings, 5'7 140lb and the size SMALL fits me just slightly tighter than my Aligns so I would recommend going with your size at LLL if you know it. I also have a pair of 7/8 CK leggings and they fit the same through the hips and waist. The top of the shorts comes to my bellybutton and the bottom of the shorts hits me about 5in from the top of my knee, I don't ever feel like they're too short--they work great for circuit training.Color/Material: The color is a true, matte black and the same buttery material as the CK 7/8 leggings. I'm OBSESSED with how soft these leggings are...they feel like a second skin when I put them on!Performance: These shorts are totally squat-proof and the top held its shape without the top rolling down or getting loose and floppy during my workout. The bottom fits tightly but doesn't grip or leave a line and they don't ride up during my workouts.Care: I don't dry my CK leggings in the dryer, I always hang them up and wash them on cold. I really think this makes them last longer, so I would recommend not machine-drying them!Overall: 10/10 recommend these shorts! I own multiple pairs of CK leggings and will be buying more when my LLLs wear out. These shorts rock!

If you're looking for yoga shorts with pockets and a high waist stop and buy these! They're awesome. 25% spandex so very stretchy, overall super comfy as is expected with ColorfulKoala. I actually bought both 90 Degree by Reflex and CRZ Yoga shorts just like these and returned both of the others -- these are by far the best of the 3 types. I'm getting more colors and just bought yet another pair of ColorfulKoala leggings (in army green splinter camo!). This brand is awesome. I paid full price for these and don't get anything for writing reviews by the way, I'm just a leggings addict and want to be helpful. I recommended these shorts to all my friends who are looking for this style.

Fantastic shorts. Squat proof and long enough to not roll up into your crotch while running. The leg openings are a little tight, but I have thick thighs, so I just sizing sizing up one. I normally wear a large and got an xl in these. Didn’t notice any real difference in the waist in the larger size, just slightly looser fit in the leg openings.The BEST part of these shorts is the seamless waistband. Nothing cutting across my sensitive postpartum tummy.I got these in two colors and plan to get some of the full leggings in the fall.

I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of bike shorts and I’ve bought a few that are okay but these are great! Super soft. Nice length. High waisted and they have pockets which is already better then the rest lol I love my leggings by this brand so if I’d known that they had bike shorts prior to buying all my other shorts I would’ve just bought a few pairs of these instead! I usually wear a medium in their leggings but I sized up to the large to prevent them from being to tight around the legs and I love the fit!

I've got the $50-60 version of buttery soft exercise shorts....THESE TRUMP THEM. I am an active mom of 3 that works full time, my needs are short: high waist that STAYS PUT, soft fabric LIKE BUTTA, and POCKETS to hold my phone to track my steps because I don't have a smart watch and don't need one more thing to keep track of. THESE ARE IT. Thank you to the Facebook page SUNFLOWER STEALS for their recommendation: SPOT ON. I am SO pleased. The price is so reasonable but beyond that the QUALITY is stellar.

Love these, got a size small and I’m a uk small in leggings so perfect fit! Compressed waist band and not too tight on quads or glutes, squat proof but does show sweat, nice colour and don’t roll up while you are training!

The fabric is not as soft as anticipated and the center front seam is unfortunate. These are fine for underneat short skirts of dresses, or long t shirts, but I would not purchase again.

Comfy material but a bit on the small side. I wear it for runs, weight training, or just to go out. I always feel great in it!!
