Great product, used these with a lorex cctv system from Costco paired with ETL 20/2 siemease cable and a etekcity compression tool. These connectors are sold at lowes and Home Depot in 4packs for $9-11. Every connector was perfect with no defects, the clear side view window makes it easy to see you have a solid mount on the cable. Only downside is they are kind of expensive at almost $2 a piece which is why I gave 4 stars, however if you know how to strip and crimp right you won't have any problems with these. Would definitely buy again and recommend.

easy to use and fit well with the other wire and connectors

The instructions are clear, and the connection is solid. I have used many different BNC Connectors. Ideal is the only brand that I have found to be reliable every time. They have a window to see the wire and ensure that it is pushed in all the way before you crimp it. While more expensive than most, you get what you pay for with this. It is well worth it for solid video connection.

WARNING: Misleading!! I didn't see the other posts til it was too late. Only 15 instead of the 35 as expected with the part number 89-5047. I never would have paid that price for only 15!!

So yes I ha e tried these to sample one before my main install. With the correct crimper it works flawlessly. The clear slot allows you to see how far to push in instead of guessing like others have. For the price it’s not too bad for the features it presents. Would buy again. And I probably will.

Does not work well with a cheaper compression tool I got from Amazon with the blue handle ideal RG59 connectors. I bought those more expensive connectors, but opted for that tool thinking it would not be an issue, but the tool crushed the inside fan-like shields that surround the center pin to the point the connector would not go on the receiving BNC connector. I had to break off the shield pieces to get the connector to mate with the dvr. Also, I had used cheaper twist-on connectors before trying the compression type connectors and this tool to try to resolve interference type lines in a long cable run with a Samsung dvr security setup, but their was no improvement with the compression connectors over the twist on ones. I had to give it a try, but my review just reflects the ideal rg-59 compression connectors not working any better than the twist on type. I only used enough force to compress the connector, not excessive force. If you want to use these connectors you should probable get an ideal tool as well, but I don't think you will get a better connection over the twist on type.

I use these connectors at work and there a little bit cheaper here than from Home Depot. These connectors are MUCH better than the three piece crimp on style connectors as they do not pull off of the wire nearly as easily.

Misleading this is for only fifteen not 35. So disappointed
