Definitely not bad for the price.OK, so it's true, you would be better off being able to read the tiny printed manual in Chinese, and it doesn't make a lot of sense anyway. But if you take a little time to experiment with it, and DO pick up some tips from the manual, this is a pretty good little device.Vids are clear and sharp, nighttime capture is acceptable, mount could not be removed from window with a hammer (unless you ask it nicely). Very small, sits nicely behind & underneath the rear view. Will lock video segments during critical events or by your choice. I like the small display, which has a timeout if desired, for confirming camera aim, etc.I general pleased. Not a dash cam fanatic or expert, but this simple cam would certainly be adequate for obtaining darned good quality video for online posting or turning over to the cops, or your attorney suing the cops... ;)

The product quality is good for the price
Amazon do not give THE SELLER option to do something to avoid the return. The product quality is good for the price. But the manual is un-readable at all. The prints are so small and need magnifying glass to read. The English is difficult to understand. There are no signs to identify the right keys to use. IF YOU CAN PROVIDE A READABLE MANUAL, I WOULD GLADLY KEEP THE UNIT......

Not bad, it can serve it purpose but can still ...
Not bad ,it can serve it purpose but can still overheat in the summer and not turn on. Have owned two of these, one for me and one for wife for about 2 years now and still cannot figure out how to change the date and time setting as the instructions, well are just not legible.

nice camera... FOR THE MONEY. BAD INSTRUCTIONS
Nice little camera for the money..IT IS WHAT IT IS... I would have gladly paid an extra $10 for some usable instructions. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE A JOKE. Unusable. Not at all intuitive. I had no idea if it is working CORRECTLY or not due to the very confusing icons on the screen., cheap plastic mount can't be swiveled but really sticks to windshield. . IF I PRESS THE CHINESE SYMBOL FOR SOUP, WILL THE VOLUME CONTROLL APPEAR?,,, UPDATE... RECIEVED English instructions via email.... much better now. Excellent seller, very helpful.

For under $40 it's decent.
It works. Video quality is so-so. Menu/controls a bit confusing. Not very well laid out. But it does take clear video. Would make for good proof in accident and driving violation cases. For under $40 it's decent. The body is metal but still very light. Big LCD on the back of the cam. Bigger than most. Camera mounting bracket (suction cup) is OK. Sticks well.

Was good for the first 2.5 months!
Was recommended by a friend. Worked great for a short while then started having problems. I set the loop to 5 minutes but now loops at 8 or 9 seconds! Sometimes, the screen goes black. The instructions are the not the best around but you can figure it out by playing around. Too bad it's not working as it should because the pictures were amazing.

The dash cam works as advertised but having a difficult time finding the correct set up for using which hardwire kit and I tried Two-way splitter and that kept popping out after five days. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was using dash cam and radar detector with the two-way splitter. Thank you Sincerely Bruce Kramer

Not great........
The description is incorrect. The camera has a "mini", not "micro" USB connector, this caused me to purchase the wrong sized DC adapter for installation in my vehicle. When the display is active, the camera generates a significant amount of RF or radio "noise". At times this interference is strong enough to disrupt reception of weaker FM signals on my car radio. There are also several suspicous 5 star reviews from "Amazon Customer" They all seem to give 5 star reviews to only items sold by this particular seller.
