Herm. Sprenger Prong Collar Extra Links, 2.25 mm

Despite merchandise’s tiny size and light weight, the Shipping & Handling is much higher than usual and higher than cost of item. I must have overlooked during ordering. Other than that, it’s an authentic Herm Sprenger at a good price and excellent packing.

Herm Sprenger was actually recommended to me when I called into amazon for a different product issue (which was solved amazingly). The amazon rep noticed in my account that I had dogs. We just started chatting, and she trains dogs for the military. I had mentioned that my lab I don't take walks with my lab due to having difficulty with training, and pulling. I had tried all kinds of products, and nothing helped. She told me about the Herm Sprenger product, and said those are the only brand to use, and they don't hurt the dog. Other products aren't designed the same way and actually poke and hurt the dog. She put what exactly what I needed in my cart for me, so I could see what she was referring to. I had a free consultation with an expert. My dog was NOT happy the first time we used it, but quickly adjusted. She also told me to do a search on You Tube specifically for Herm Sprenger to see how to use the product correctly. Fantastic product, and fantastic customer service.

I came from the skeptical side. I wrongly believed these hurt dogs. On the contrary, strangulation from the collar is the real danger. This collar tells the dog: "slow down buddy" without hurting them. Labs pull like little horses

Works as advertised with proper sizing and execution. First time using one after growing up thinking they were inhumane - no lesions, no redness, no aggression, no resent coming from my pup. When she sees the collar, she knows it's serious walking/ training time and is visibly excited just like when we put on her front clip harness for longer walks. If you've been considering a prong collar for a while but are worried what people will think of you and your relationship with your dog, just educate yourself enough so you're prepared to educate others. :) Highly recommend these ones in particular for their build quality and rounded ends which are very important.
