UK two CD set containing a trio of Elektra albums - dating from 1976, 1979 and 1980 - from acclaimed singer/songwriter Judy Collins. All three made the Billboard Top 200 with Bread & Roses staying in the chart for nearly six months. Collins continues to record and tour to adoring audiences. Digitally remastered and slipcased. Review: Judy Collins’ Most Exquisite Albums Now Available on CD! - These were my favorite Judy Collins albums. I had been looking for YEARS for the CD version - I had only the vinyl. I just happened to come across this double CD, recently published. So glad! Collins’ voice is exquisitely matched to these songs. Beautiful! Review: Great CD - Bought for a friend for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. She loved Judy Collins and true music lover.

Big bang for the buck
Three of her best LPs on a 2-disc set. Excellent quality.

Not so much!
These albums are the 3 of the worst of her career: Bread and Roses made shortly before her stint in rehab- her vocals were thin and pitchy and the other two were her early recovery albums, but her voice was still shaky and production was pop and schmaltzy. I hated this period when “easy listening” was her label. Thank God, her voice became rich and she returned to more roots orientated music

Not her best
Occasionally wonderful music, but a good bit of her least appealing songs--rather depressing. She must have written these when she was in bad relationships.

Some of Judy Collins best albums.
