Amazon Essentials Women's Standard Kimono Sleeve Wrap Dress

I love this dress! The first thing that grabbed me was the color. I did mess with the color saturation a bit in this pic, but only because the color did not look correct as taken and the edited pic shown here is a more accurate representation of the color.Pros:Very soft materialDrapes nicelyCan work in spring, summer or fallNOT see-through (has husband test this in bright lighting)Sleeves are flattering and unusual this seasonPockets*Cons:Pockets* - they add a little something to the hip area as they are not truly invisible and it’s enough that I notice it and think, “I kinda wish there weren’t pockets.” That said, it’s obvious it’s pockets and not extra hip, and they are deep and you get POCKETS, so I think most people would put this in the “pro” category, but I’m a nit-picker.I had not washed it yet so it’s wrinkly. It’s the same-ish material as the maxi and knee-length striped dresses, maybe a bit more weight, and they come out of the dryer fine as long as you smooth them & hang promptly. I don’t foresee the need to iron unless you leave it in the dryer or a basket to cool. Then you’re going to have a mess on your hands.I love this color so much I ordered the romper that comes in jade so I can have another piece of jade in my closet.I got a S and Amazon again told me to size down, and again, I ignored them and went with a S and it fit fine. I was worried it might be too tight in the chest area in an XS. Who knows? I'm 5'2 and around 170 pounds, so definitely on the curvy side. This dress makes me feel really good bc it highlights my curves in a flattering way. It's also lightweight, and quality material. I loved it so much that I bought two, and am planning on buying more in different colors.

This dress is a classic style that will give you years of wear. The fabric is lightweight and has plenty of stretch. It's a pull-on style with a faux wrap. The sleeves are full and flowy. There are pockets to add to the easy feel. The hem hit me just above the knee. You can choose your normal size or size down for a more fitted look. For fit reference, I'm 5'6", 153lbs and a 34G bra size. I'm wearing the medium. I might have chosen the small for a bodycon fit.Thanks so much for taking the time to read this review. This dress hits all the marks! It has pockets, isn't outrageously low cut, and hits right at the knee (I'm 5'5"). It also has the faux wrap feature to help with waist definition. I've found the Amazon brand runs a little large in tops/dresses and a little small in bottoms, at least for me. For the record, I'm a solid 14 in most brands with 42-34-42 measurements, and the large fit well! If you are between sizes, I'd recommend sizing down. I got the red poppy print, and it is very bright and fun. I got many compliments, and I came back for it in black!

This dress was exactly what I have been searching for! It is so lovely, flattering, comfortable and just dressy enough for many occasions. The fit is amazing. I’m waiting for another color, but thrilled to have found this dress and a bargain. It surely wasn’t what I thought of taking a chance. Happy that I decided to order.

Faded in the first wash. Cheap fabric. Looks like the fabric was dyed black. I’m full figured. it looks great on, except around breast area where the material stretches more, you can see the white fabric in the stretch.. Almost like I’m wearing white underneath, when in fact I have a black camisole under. Photos taken were after first wash. Washed on delicate, cold water. Hung to dry indoors.

This is a great dress. I ordered a few similar styles from Amazon Essentials and this is my favorite. The flutter sleeves make the waistline look slim. The dress drapes gracefully and looks a lot more expensive than it was. I’m over 40 and this dress doesn’t look too cutesy. It’s very elegant. I’m 5’5” and around 135. I ordered an XS and it’s a perfect fit. I expected that this would be a casual dress for me but I’m impressed with the quality. I’ll be able to dress this up for an evening out too.

I am a petite. This dress is a regular, so it would be shorter if you’re a regular size. I’m usually an 8, which would have been fine, it’s very stretchy. I ordered the medium. It really compares to the Chico’s Traveler, except for the price!

I'm 5"3 and a size 10 (UK). I ordered the size xs and s but decided to keep the s as it was a tiny bit more loose. There wasn't much in it though as they both felt comfortable!The dress is really comfortable and is cut well. I really like the sleeves! Also the material is soft and doesn't sag. I hope it will wash well. It sits just on my knee.Please do more colours especially a plain red!

Absolutely love this dress! Bought it to wear to work & it has everything I need.... very flattering cut & material, not too short so I don’t flash my pants bending over, I can clip my shop keys on the tie at the side & it has pockets! Yes! POCKETS!!!Hope more colours come into stock soon, especially the jade in size L.

I am a petite just under 5 ft 3 inch woman and a type size 8-10 . This dress has lovely material , buy a size smaller unless you want it loosely fitting. I bought a small when I should have bought an extra small.

At last a dress with pockets! Congratulations to the designer. Womens clothing always lack practicalities such as pockets. These dresses are made in comfortable breathable material with a great design, very flattering. I have bought 4 of these dresses now in different syles and patterns, just love them! Please design more in different patterns!

I’ve just worn this for the first time and it is very comfortable to wear, the material doesn’t crease up, and the style is flattering if like me you have a tummy bulge. I’m happy with my purchase and recommend it. The length is just over my knee which I like.
