I purchased a lot of of electrical components, fuse blocks, relays, ect. and everything else to build my own set up, and then I saw this. I returned everything and purchased this. I don't regret it. Everything works as advertised. I installed this on a Land Cruiser and use it for aftermarket lockers. The button switches installed nicely on my dash and the block installed well under the hood. The auto dim on the buttons seems to work well, so far. I have no complaints at this time.

Much better than I expected

It over all does what is should in a nice package. My main complaint is that only 5 of my 6 buttons work. I should have check them all before installing it and and running all my wires. At this point I am not sure what I am going to do as it was a lot of work to wire everything to it. I wish I could get a new control panel as I am sure that is the problem since when I push the button the indicator light does not come on.

perfect for adding six switches with a clean install

The power button is useless at least for me. there is a large power a small ground wire and a small red wire that would be keyed power. When you put 12v on that wire the unit lights up then you push the power button to turn it on and all 6 switches come on, if you push it again all 6 go off, if you push it to turn it on you then have to turn off the switches you dont want, and the backlight stays on at all time weather or not the power button is pushed. That is the biggest problem for me. i dont want to have to key up to turn on panel, i want to be able to have some things run without the key on. and the backlight would kill battery staying on the whole time. yes i could add a toggle switch but that was the point of buying this. in my mind the power button should turn unit on or off and the backlight should only come on when unit is on. I gave it 3 stars because it is nice quality construction, and will work for most people. and i guess in order to get what i want i have to buy a high dollar unit like a switchpros
