Great shoe for teaching dance! No pain! Good arch and heel support.
The media could not be loaded. SO THANKFUL to have found this shoe! With the laces, you can choose how tight you'd like the fit. I teach 20+ dance classes per week and these have saved my feet! I am normally a very consistent "9", but the 9.5 fit me perfect. The sizing reviews were all over the place so I order three different sizes and ending up keeping the 9.5. I can still perform chainés and pirouettes safely without twerking my knees. I can also still "pointe my toes" while teaching/demonstrating. The tip of the shoe is squared off which is also very cute and helping for teaching pointe (although I do not go up on pointe in theses shoes). They are very lightweight and breathable too. I usually wear them with a pair of thin socks. I have been teaching with them for about a month and I think they are a great shoe! Highly recommend.

Love them, buying more, tell all dancers!
I wear a mens size 9 (USA) street shoe; ordered a size 11. They are soft, furry, and fit me like a glove, perfect for Zumba, Hip-Hop, Modern.I plan to buy more for a backup pair and for tap. These are working shoes; consider them as professional dance equipment. If you have notworn split sole dance shoes, there will be some training required to gain proficiency. Most notably there will be some adjustments in balanceand muscle tone in the foot and calves. If you cramp up after class, walk and stretch (feet and calves) for at least half hour. This is common for1'st timers; don't give up! The shoes are tight around the arches -- they need to be for good articulation. If you find difficulty controlling thetightness, try using European lacing. The toes are flattened but maybe not enough to practice pointe (I haven't tried yet).Sparky(Feet First, Joy of Motion, Motion Mania, CoMMotion)

Comfortable with good support
Excellent fit, especially for wide width. They are comfortable. with good support. I am very satisfied.

Comfortable sole. Tongue too long!
I was looking for a dance shoe with cushion on the sole and these provide that. YAY! However…the tongue is so long that it constantly rubs the front of my leg. Whoever the designer is…PLEASE SHORTEN THE TONGUE AT LEAST HALF AN INCH. Then I could definitely give this shoe a 5 star rating.

Perfect for a ballet teacher
My daughter wears a street shoe 9 and bought these shoes in a size 8.5. They fit perfectly. My daughter paid full price for a new pair of shoes and got a pair of used shoes, so be aware of that. If they had been new, they would have been beautiful, supportive, good quality, lightweight and perfect for a ballet teacher.

Absolutely awful!
I wear a street 11 Men's US. My feet are a little wider than medium but otherwise pretty normal. I'm one of those lucky people that usually has no trouble fitting shoes. I can get by fine with a little large, a little small, a little tight across the instep. Doesn't bother me. I got these in a 13 and the fit seemed snugger than I would prefer in a street shoe but right for dancing. They were a bit tight around the instep but I figured that would stretch soon enough. I took them dancing and for the first time in my life I experienced the agony of ill fitting shoes. The ball of my foot seemed to be behind the front sole (the soles are two separate pieces). After just a few minutes, my feet hurt, my hips were aching and I had back pain. I've never had this kind of experience before. I am fit and athletic without any kind of joint problems and I can't ever remember a pair of shoes causing this much pain. Most other people love these shoes so I dunno what happened here. As I said, my feet are not abnormal. Perhaps this was a defective pair, though I don't see how the problem could be remedied without a design change. Perhaps just the size 13 is not well thought out, possibly using the same sole as a size 12? I don't know. This was my experience and it sucked.
