After going through 4 different sets of lights, this set finally did what it said it would! The "remote" is a push button on the plug that runs you through the different light modes.I bought this set specifically to make fake coals for my witches caldron, and these work PERFECTLY!!! They are more than bright enough to shine through the paint and foam, and the second mode in is exactly what I was looking for!!

The media could not be loaded.  These lights are lovely <3 I would definitely buy them again. The color is a dark orange, but it shines vibrantly.

They want me to rate the remote and timer, but none of that was included. I just really didn’t like these lights. They’re super bright, which is why I gave them a 3/5, but the color is more blue than purple. I had to take them down and order them from a different seller because the blueness actually messed with my eyes. If you want lights that’re more blue than purple, you’ll probably like these. They just aren’t the purple that they appear to be in the picture and kinda gave me headaches/eye pain.

I purchased a few of these stands of lights and all but one were good. I just started decorating for Halloween so just putting them up and one of the strands had the wires spliced together and would not stay lit. Of course I purchased them in July so I can't return them. I will buy new ones, I love how deep orange they are.

Nice orange lights, perfect to enhance a "fall atmosphere." Unfortunately, the string's coupling is unique to this brand. That is, the coupling does not use standard 110V two-blade plug so could not string with other lights already on-hand.

Little different wire wise but I like it great color and brightness definitely better than some of what the big stores in town are selling.

Great quality lights! Bright and light up well!! Strong wire and well spaced out bulbs. Great addition to my fall decor!

I used these lights for a faux fire pit for a Halloween skeleton decoration scene. The way the lights are able to slowly chase each other really make it look like a smoldering fire. Very happy with how it turned out
