I don't normally leave reviews, but am writing this one in case there are others with back stiffness and pain caused by sitting for long periods of time hunched over a keyboard and monitor. I've had back stiffness and pain from this for many years, have tried better chairs, following guidelines for placement/height of keyboard and monitor, standing desk etc. , but nothing worked. I started wearing this back brace, and it was a silver bullet. I no longer get stiff or have pain. This particular back brace worked well for me, but I have no reason to believe that others would not also work. For $10-$20 it's worth trying if you have similar problems. Good Luck.

Went thru about 5 upper back braces on Amazon over the last two months. most are either too small for a larger adult male, shoulder straps severely pinch in the arm pit, or the velcro quickly wore out. This brace so far has met all those requirements for me. Except I did older the XL based on prior history with other ones and it turned out to be WAY to big. Even for me being 6'2". Returned it and bought the Large and it fits lot better still with easy to reach the straps and easily adjust the tightness. Does actually work very well for shoulder and neck relief while working a desk job.

It's made out of thick material but the fit wasn't right. It became very uncomfortable pretty quickly.

I have impingement in both shoulders and micro tears and scapular dyskinesis on right shoulder. A lot of this may be caused by poor posture. I have been struggling with so much shoulder pain for 8 months with little relief from meds or PT. I won’t try to explain what I don’t fully understand, but this cozy gem significantly reduces my pain just by wearing it right away. I can’t wait to see its long term benefits on my posture. I’ll be wearing it a lot.

Hard and unnatural feeling. Didnt contour and support like previous one ive tried

I have suffered through chronic back issues for over 20 years and am always looking for that magic bullet that will provide real relief. One of my many challenges is maintaining my posture while my lower back pain--spinal stenosis-wants me to slump forward to provide relief on my pinched nerves. I have one device that wraps around my shoulders and also my waist that allows me to tighten the shoulder straps thus pulling my shoulders back while the tight waist band gives relief to my lower back pain. I do get results from that one.I questioned the viability of this one because there is nothing to hold it in place; i.e. a waist band. The shoulder straps are free floating and no matter how much I shorten/tighten the straps there is no tension pulling my shoulders back. Frankly, I've just been too lazy to return it.

Very well made. Im a male with fairly broad shoulders and this thing needs to be tightened almost fully just to feel anything. I bought 2, 1 for my wife and 1 for me. She is 5 ft flat and this product is way to big for her. If small framed i do not recommend, it barely fits medium build men.

I do like the design and function of this product overall and have recommended it to others: however, the Velcro is loosing its grip on one side and comes undone now. It has only been 3 months.....
