Perfect for any magic mirror project
This arrived in a giant box! I was so worried it was going to be broken, but it was very very bubble wrapped inside. It arrived in perfect condition. I made a huge magic mirror for a class project, and it worked out great! It's thick, but yes, you can see through it. I really enjoyed working on this project! Ended up getting a B in the class (aww ysss)! And yes, I know it's expensive. Trust me I did quite a bit of looking around and almost bought something cheap. But I think if you're going to make something for your house that you intend to use daily, or for a gift, spend the money on a quality peice of acrylic. The company even reached out to me to make sure everything was ok when it arrived. Spend the money, it's seriously worth it! Warning!! I suggest working with something a bit smaller though if you don't have the right kind of frame (like me). It tends to bow out, like it's falling out of the frame, but when I have time I plan on fixing the frame so it stays in place. Make sure you have your measurements right!! I'd suggest working with a local framing company if you'd like to put this in a shadow box type of fixture.

Product is great but might have small fractures on the edge
From what I can see, the reflectivity of the mirror is really good and as soon as I get everything completed I'll add photos to show it. The mirror itself had a small fracture in the top middle of it which was a slight bummer but I should be able to cover it in the project I'm using it for. The box itself wasn't even labeled as fragile so it's most definitely Amazon's fault, not the seller's, yet the seller gets punished for it. Will definitely look to purchase again for other projects.

Very clear, nice surface
If you are planning to size this, be aware, its brittle, not as bad as glass, but you need to score it deeply...do NOT try to cut with a saw. Also, be aware, not being glass, it scuffs and scratches easily...but...I protected mine by putting a lexan cover on it..

Scratches easy and prone to manufacture defects
UPDATE: got a replacement, and it's just as bad, if not worse. If you're using it for a magic mirror project, just bite the bullet and go with a glass one. This one is prone to bad defects. After delivery, you have to remove 3 protective films in total. This gave me confidence the acrylic would be in good condition, but upon removing the film, it had a long diagonal streak going through the middle. I thought this was maybe a scruff from me removing the protective layer, but it was in fact between layers of the acrylic, and could not be cleaned. What more, upon cleaning with ordinary windex and a lint free cloth, the reflective material began to wipe off. Poor quality and fragile. If you get it in perfect condition, install it and don't touch it. Otherwise send it back for a replacement or shop somewhere else, because it'll damage easily.

Great for MagicMirror BUT KEEP IT SUPER CLEAN..
I had purchased this a while ago to build a magic mirror, and it worked wonderfully for the first couple months. Last week however, I noticed that the mirror has been permanently scared due to someone touching it with their hand and not immediately polishing/buffing out the mark where the person touched the mirror. I’ve attached pictures of what I’m taking about, it appears as though the residual sweat/grease from when someone touched the mirror has turned black and permanently scared the surface. Try as I may, looks it it’s been absorbed by the acrylic and damaged the reflective surface. Pretty disappointing as it was working great before this and the acrylic version are much more affordable than glass. if I had known this would be an issue in the long run I likely would have gone with a glass two-way mirror instead of acrylic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I imagine if you make sure to keep it super clean it wouldn’t be an issue.

Good material, packaged well
I used this with a laser cutter to make some perforated plastic lenses for a Halloween mask. It cut incredibly cleanly, and the plastic protective coating on both sides prevented any scratches or marring during the process. Even without the perforations, the plastic is transparent enough to see through. The only downside is that I ordered a sheet that was a little too thin and therefore it's easy to break if flexed, but that is buyer error and not the fault of the manufacturer. Can't beat the price for the quality of the material. Just remember to remove the film on each side after cutting.

Bought the 3mm sheet for a Magic Mirror project and its been perfect so far. The sheet was well packaged and had no marks or cracks. Reflections look normal and light comes through the other side well. I had to cut the sheet to size using a razor blade to create a groove then applying pressure until the sheet snapped along the line. There is some marks along the edge but nothing too bad. Haven't tried cleaning yet as some reviews stated that cleaning damages the acrylic and the mirror coating. I can say I recommend this for any magic mirror projects. Although I'd say get the 3mm one as its less likely to bend and distort the reflection.

They work like they should, a little bit dark but not a biggie.
