This low priced jig saw works excellent and holds up great for any project big or small, it’s durable and reliable at a great price.

Used the Jig Saw to cut a cat door for my three lovelies. I was able to cut though a metal door, so my fur babies could go from the laundry room into the sun room. Couldn't have done it without the jig saw and the metal blade.

Worked well for my flooring project, cutting laminate planks. I used a Bosch blade made for laminate, did not use the blade that came with this item so I can't speak to that. For my project, it cut smooth and clean. The adjustable speed comes in handy. For simple projects, I don't see how you could go wrong with this. The only thing I did not like was the plastic guard because it makes it difficult to see the blade cutting. Once I yanked it off with a pair of pliers, I was much happier.

This item was replacing a 40 year old skil brand jig saw. The nicest thing about it is the plastic housing which really lightened the saw and the ability to hook a vacuum to the back to catch sawdust. Another big improvement is that it's a tool-less replacement for blades. Easy to get them in and out without having to search for the tool.

I am not a power tool guy. My only power tools before this had been a hand-held drill (from 1980) and a hand sander. But I needed to put two cat doors in our house and needed something to cut the openings in our solid-wood doors. The same day that this saw arrived on the front porch, I managed to cut openings in two doors with no issues. (Well, no issues with the saw, anyway. Given my limited power-tool skills, I ended up adhering to the "Measure once, cut twice" rule. But that's my shortcoming, not the saw's.)The price and quality of this saw impress me. For around $15, this saw comes with everything one needs for the small job. I wouldn't know a professional tool if it hit me in the head, but I assume this tool would not be sufficient for continuous or long-term use. But for the occasional quick project or repair job, this one does the trick. I even bought a set of additional blades for wood and metal (which cost almost as much as the saw) and already used the saw to shorten a metal pole.For the price, one would be hard-pressed to find another saw that even comes close to this one.

Wasn't sure if this was going to be powerful enough to cut through 3/4" wood, but it did with ease. So happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

This saw is lightweight, easy to set up, easy to operate, and feels good in the hand.So far, I'm pleased with its performance. This saw is very competent at straight cuts into wood from the edge of the board; it does well with curved cuts too, provided you're not turning it too sharply. The saw bucked and marred the wood a bit when I attempted a plunge cut into a 3/4" thick pine board, and it had a genuinely hard time cutting through a thin aluminum angle with the supplied blade--but it eventually got the job done in both cases. For how little this thing costs, it's hard to say anything bad about it. Definitely worth the price.

Lo Bueno*Para ser mi primera Sierra Caladora funciona bastante bien, cumple su función, la potencia real es de 480W, tiene velocidad variable, excelente para uso domestico, la verdad no sabría decir si es para uso rudo, lo use por mas de dos horas y se empezó a sentir caliente el motor, lo deje enfriar un rato y seguí con mis cortes no me defraudo. !!Lo Recomiendo para usurarios de México ya que por el precio vale la pena!!, por las características y el precio lo consigues al triple en México una sierra similar.Lo Malo*Tengo Membresía Prime y me llego en una bolsa sellada de Amazon por lo cual llego algo dañado la caja y corre el riesgo que se dañe el producto en el envió.*Por suerte llego bien sin daños y con su sello, pero al parecer la sierra no es nueva ya que venia con polvo y restos de aserrín, la bolsa del manual venia toda arrugada y la hoja de corte no es nueva.*Me imagino que por el precio publicado son sierras que fueron devueltas por usuarios que no les agrado el producto, también puede explicar el maltrato de la caja y que la hoja de corte la hallan cambiado.*Por el precio no me puedo quejar, la sierra me llego en perfectas condiciones y funciona bien solo que tuve que usar una hoja de corte nueva.

This saw is .. fine. It's not amazing and not worth the full price, especially when for twenty bucks more you can buy a nicer jigsaw. We use it rarely since it is just not powerful enough to do most work.
