My plate review
The plates are great, the procedure to place them in the vest was straight forward. I love that I can upgrade the size of the plates. Well done....2 thumbs way up.

If you are curious, I’ve tested them and they hold up equally with a grade 3 plate 😉 they fit perfectly and are worth it!

Chips on the plates. Both weigh 19.6 lbs each. Thankfully when added with the 5.11 vest it totals what I need.

Good but slightly damaged
Absolutely love this.. I got the 14.5 weight but right now both are too much but it gives me something to grow into to. The vest fits amazing and love how adjustable it is.The plates were slightly damaged tho. Had chips and missing paint

Pushing it to the limit.
This training vest with weighted, metal plates are a game changer. I’d recommend going lower in weight when ordering. Adding both plates to the vest was a lot heavier than I expected. Training with one plate, I’ve been able to reduce my long distance run times greatly.
