Not fun to install, but does the trick!
Like many, our CRV had issues with its power lock actuators, especially the driver side. When it finally failed, it did so in the unlocked position. Quite a pain! Anyway, ordered this and although it wasn’t the easiest to install, fixed the issue. Happy customer.

If you're handy and have the patience, you can replace it yourself
So far, so good. Purchased to replace a jammed actuator (mechanical failure) on a 2007 CR-V. It took two of us about 4 hours in total to replace given the age of the vehicle and many parts simply not wanting to cooperate during disassembly. Absolute pain in the butt to replace yourself, however, so long as it continues to function without issue, this aftermarket actuator is great bang for your buck compared to the combined cost of labor and a factory replacement. (I read that aftermarket door actuators have a higher rate of failure and will update my review if anything changes.) ***Helpful tip: Consult multiple videos as needed. You do NOT need to disconnect the rod from the outer door handle, as shown in many videos. It's not necessary and can cause more pain than its worth during reassembly (so I've read). Instead, leave it in place and disconnect it at the bottom from the actuator only by removing the plastic clip. We got stuck at this step (rod would not come apart--the plastic clip at the top of the rod was at risk of breaking & we didn't have lubricating oil on-hand) and eventually found this to be a more suitable workaround that could have saved us at least an hour, if not more.

Good fit for my MDX
Worked perfectly ok for my MDX so far. its been a month now!

Failed/broken after 4 months
price was great compared to factory and worked great for about 3-4 months and just this month it stays in the unlocked position only. manually or electric, it will not stay locked. it was a righteous pain to put in as well, but now that i know what im doing i can have it replaced in an hour. i fear this may be of China origin and i will be certain not to get the same brand next time
