I was able to connect right out of the box! Very responsive. Bluetooth is not needed. I was even able to use the pen on my iPhone 15 Pro and touch Samsung laptop, so all in all, a great buy. Uses USB C-type charger. It comes with a shorter USB C-type charger, but you will need to use a block or have some other connection to charge.
