BRIKSMAX Led Lighting Kit for Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer - Compatible with Lego 75252 Building Blocks Model- Not Include The Lego Set

This is the 3rd Lego Briksmax light kit I've done. I think it's the best. I started with a smaller (and cheaper) kit and actually found it more difficult (but still worth it). All the hollow space inside the Star Destroyer allows for room to arrange things. I set up the USB charger as a test site with a clamp on my desk, so I could check the wiring as I went. Nothing was ever broken in my testing, but your mileage may vary. The book isn't the best, but once you realize how the pictures segue, it's fine. And the extra space allows for slight deviations from the plan.Odds are, if you can build this Lego kit, you can do this light kit.

Excellent kit. Fits perfectly and really enhances the Star Destroyer’s detail. I highly recommend and will buy from this company again.

Love the look on the ship, really nice to have the light. Remote control really easy to use, no complaint on functionality at all. Respect for developers its a beauty enhancer.Cons. Instructions books pictures really small, specially for people with blurry sight (even with glasses- needed to use themPlus magnifier), not that easy to follow, last book seems done on due timing as several steps were missing, some pics blurry. Which make them hard to understand.Although lego looks amazing the installation process is tedious as you need to place light by light. Really small pieces so a lot of detail is needed, again people with vision issues and pulse issues will struggle twice.Summary: I love the product, willing to do it for another set not so sure 50-50 chances maybe. Due to the struggling if you are patient enough go for it!!

This kit is extremely challenging/frustrating.With such a complex kit with dozens of LED's - you will need an extraordinary amount of patience.Had one damaged LED and a connector for the battery box fell off.Also this kit makes it very difficult to move your model.Took me days - not hours - to finish this.Needed tools and other items to make it work.The lower rating is due to the instructions not being very clear - a wiring diagram would be nice - and some short fall on some areas in terms of implementation.I ignored the instructions in various areas as I felt I had a better idea in running wires.I strongly advise you test each "section" as you build it - also label your wires as you build it or you will get lost.You do not need to follow instructions to the T - use common sense and go with your gut.As to the remarks about bits and pieces falling off the model - didn't have that problem here - other than mishandling or accidental "shouldn't have grabbed there"This is not for faint of heart.But in the end - its a beautiful result.WARNING - Factory site is all but dead and will take days to respond - go to the new site (lightaling) - very stupid implementation.

It is easy to assemble, but to expensive for this small lights and less value. But it looks nice , when the room is dark.

The directions are a joke. They’re in a little booklet and are only a little snapshot of where the wires should end up.... not how they’re routed. I’m only half way through wiring but I hope it’s worth it. I had to take half of the ship apart and constantly hear little pieces falling off and spend time figuring out where they fell from. That’s not the product’s fault but it’s extremely frustrating when you add the fact that the directions are horrible. It is NOT easy to assemble.

Update: The lights stopped taking input from the remote. Only the white underlight lights up when I turn on the thing, everything else is dead. It looked super cool while it lasted. I honestly maybe had these lights up 30 or so times to show off before they went dead. Bummer.Original review: I was very excited to receive this LED kit. As many people have said, the instructions could be simpler, but it's really not that bad. Go slowly, find reference pieces on the model and you'll get there. The final result is just awesome. I actually enjoyed doing this a few hours at a time. Total of maybe 12 hours to get it completely done, but I liked it. I would have been disappointed if it took 3 hours or so.Beware though. There's a few details that are easy to miss. For once, The AA battery holder has a small ON/OFF switch. I did not notice until I sent my original review of 1 star, because "it didn't work". I figured my dumb mistake a few hours later.

Über 80 LED‘s und knapp 30 m Kabel wurden in etlichen Stunden verbaut. Das Ergebnis sieht toll aus. Mir hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht und die Kabellänge war ausreichend. Bei mir war es an keiner Stelle zu knapp.Es gab leider ein kleines technisches Problem, welches aber zügig und kompetent mit dem Briksmax Kundenservice gelöst wurde.Am Ende funktionierte alles und es ist ein toller Hingucker.

The media could not be loaded.  Der erste Eindruck war sehr Positiv, alles Teile und Leitungen sind einzeln verpackt und gut Beschriftet.Die Anleitung besteht aus 4 Heften mit je 180 kleinen Fotos. Jeder noch so kleinste Schritt wird dort beschrieben, man sollte sich vorher einmal genügend Zeit nehmen um die Anleitung zu Verstehen, ist aber alles darauf zu erkennen. Sehr hilfreich war es sich mit hilfe der Anleitung eine Skizze einen Verdrahtungsplan zu erstellen.Wie schon in anderen Bewertungen zu lesen waren einige Leitungen etwas knapp von der länge bemessen, wenn mann sich nicht strickt an den Plan hält und etwas kreativ verkabelt passt alles ganz gut.Der Zeitaufwand war schon sehr, geschätzte 30 Stunden, es soll ja auch nicht lanweilig werden.Pinzette, Spitzzange wurden meine besten Freunde.Das grösste Problen war der Fuss des Sternenzerstörers, der immer wieder wegknickte, was sehr nevig ist und dabei immer wieder Teile abfallen, ich hab ihn nachher mit Sekundenkleber fixiert und so manche ander Teile auch, ist nicht die feine Art.Bei der Fernbedienung geht leider der AUS Taster nicht, die 4 Wahltasten lassen sich Einschalten aber nicht alle Ausschalten, ob das so muss??Kann man die Remote cotrol auch selber neu konfigirieren????? Kann da Jemand helfen???Ein Soundmodul wäre auch sehr schön.Fazit mit etwas Zeit und Geduld beim Einbau der Bauelemente, wird man nachher mit einem Freudestrahlen belohnt.
