Sony KDS-R60XBR1 150 Watt TV Lamp Replacement

Works great. (TV screen is still green, but research says it's a wiring problem, not bulb). Paid over $250 for this replacement bulb many years ago, so this price is a steal!

I am disappointed in the purchase of this bulb. I try to give them the benefit of a doubt. But it turned out to be one of the worse product I purchased. The tv is barely watched. I took long to review it because I rarely watched the tv. Watching the tv for a few times and the bulb just simply goes. It's not worth purchasing anymore. I would never recommend this bulb to anyone. Save your time and money

This worked like a charm. Saved us thousands of dollars and was so easy to install. We thought we would have to buy a new TV... this saved the day and the wallet! Thank you!

I don't believe these these bulbs last as long as the OEM bulbs, but nice picture while they do work and you can't beat the price. I've had some bulbs last over 3000 hours while a couple lasted less than 500. Kinda hit and miss, but like I said, can't beat the price!

I ordered this replacement bulb in March 2017 and this new bulb blew out in July 2017. It didn't even last 4 months!!! I received it on the 28th of March. I will be finding another vendor.

Ever since my factory bulb went out on my Sony 60xbr1 (which lasted 5 years) its been difficult to find another one that lasts even half the life of that one. I've bought two since that time. The first lasted about 8-9 months and the previous one lasted a year. I've come to suspect that on a tv this old (about 7 or 8 years old) this is as good as it gets. I've noticed that the bulbs have gotten cheaper also as the years have passed so I guess its a decent trade off at this point. I'm hoping that this new replacement will last a least a year as well. The picture on most any of the these replacement bulbs are fine though not as bright as the original but pretty good. Just keeping my fingers crossed on the longevity.

Pros-It works and turns on. Cons-It works and turns on. Bulb inside housing is loose and not firmly pushed towards the front. Appears this is a refurb housing with an off brand bulb. Advertised as 150W replacement but it's more like 120W. The last bulb I bought for my TV I ordered from B&H Photo 180W ($200). I took a chance ordering an el cheapo from the internet (Amazon) and I wished I had just spent the extra money for a proper replacement bulb. My B&H bulb is 3+ years old and BRIGHTER than this bulb. Not able to send back because I waited too long to try the bulb.

Easy to replace the lamp. Works great. And very low cost. Hope it continues to do so. But it is a good deal
