I've had covers like this before for my older mac book but I don't remember having as much difficulty fitting them. The bottom went on easily, but the top cover is supposed to be attached near the hinge first then snapped on gently at the front. I tried gently pushing etc., concerned not to apply too much pressure incase I damaged my screen. Eventually I tried fitting it at the front first, there are two clips just at each corner almost on the sides. I slid them onto the top, (very tight even without being attached at the hinge edge) then smoothed it towards the hinge and applied enough pressure and using my nails to ease the clips it then it snapped on tight. Phew!The keyboard cover fits, all the keys align but the back lighting on the keys themselves are slightly misaligned on numbers 2 to 0, also the fn is in a different corner. But over all it's great, it's not going to save my laptop if dropped from a height but it helps to ward off little bumps and scratches, I've not used a keyboard cover before but it feels okay and it's nice to feel the keyboard is protected from greasy fingers if I'm having my lunch whilst browsing the www.I have only just received it so can't comment on the longevity, previous covers have eventually lost their feet, (nice that there's a spare set) and cracked (wear and tear) where as the lids usually survive, in fact I've continued to use them like a slim paper tray :-) I haven't planned to use screen cover.

Got this to protect my MacBook. This is my second one. The last one lasted almost a year but got a crack on one corner when i dropped it trying to carry too much in one hand.As a case it stops bumps and scratches occurring which in my mind is great.MacBooks are very slippery and this case has a good finish , is slightly textured and makes it much easier to carry. My problem was I had too much in one hand. It slipped out and landed on its corner, causing the crack. The Mac was fine and completely undamaged. The case still protected well but I didn’t like fact the crack might catch on clothing etc.I got the same design as before and just swapped the cracked lid. I’ve kept the other bits to use if ever needed.It comes with Screen protection which I have never used. (Just my choice). It also has a keyboard cover which is great as that’s always a hard place to clean round.Overall I’m really pleased and would recommend as it does what it is designed to do and looks cool too with the different designs available.Delivered really quicklyGood priceWas easy to fit when following the online instructions correctly.

I read the reviews before I purchased and they all said that it was a good buy and I loved the bee pattern so I bought it. I wasn't overly impressed with the packaging it came in for starters as it was tattered and I'm 100% it could have been broken very easily. However, once I finally got it on right the case is nice and you can still see the apple logo which is a plus. It's easy to open the laptop still and I really like the design and finish. The fit isn't perfect but I still like it and will continue to use it until I find a better one. I haven't used the screen protector as I bought one previously. The keyboard cover isn't the best and I wont be using it. It does fit but it just doesn't feel the nicest.

I bought this and clipped it on. I've purchased many similar ones in the past. With this one, the top cover began to crack after a few months. Obviously I wasn't dropping it or anything like that. I think perhaps the fit is too tight and it causes fractures? Not sure, but never had this happen with a clip on case before. This was on an M1 MacBook Pro (2020).

The only reason why I'm not giving this full stars is because it was quite difficult to fit the case onto my laptop. I struggled with fitting the top part, and I was worried it actually didn't fit at one point. But I found that if you start from the top and bottom of one side, it's easier to get the other sides to click onto place then. Everything else was as expected. Came with all the pieces (the case, the keyboard and screen protector, a wiping cloth and the screen protector had easy guides to follow to apply it as well). There are two types of keyboard protectors included, depending on the macbook version you have. I was worried about how it was packaged, though. It came without any surrounding packaging, just the amazon cardboard big enough to fit the case, and then once I opened it, there was the case wrapped only in the thin plastic covering. It can fit through our mailbox too, so our postman fit it half-way, but if it had fallen to the ground, I would've worried the case would crack. But thankfully, when I unpacked everything there were no damages anyway. I just wish the packaging could've come with more protection.

UPDATE.It’s the end of April so this laptop case lasted four months I do wish it lasted at least half a year.———————————————————————I love this case! I let looks really really good. The front case is the perfect size. The bottom case is could be a little more snug.The only problem is that the keyboard cover is the American version (I believe) which means the enter key is a little different but other than that I’m extremely happy with my purchase

For me one of the nicest features of the Air is the lit keyboard, the keyboard cover is opaque except for the shift indicator, why? The bottom cover doesn't quite fit on the left side so every time that you open the cover, the corner of the case pops off, how irritating is that? And don't even think about trying to get the screen cover on without bubbles, you will be saved much frustration. Three parts, three pains but on balance the cover seems fairly protective, the keyboard cover will catch liquids and the screen cover will soon come off.
