A good razor but be prepared for cuts if new to cut throat razor until you get the hang of it. The only difficulty for me replacing the blade otherwise all good.

Really nice shavette razor, I’m a traditional shaving enthusiast and have been for a while. I’ve a variety of razors from Double Edge, Straight and a few shavettes.I was looking for a new shavette and came across this, I wanted something that was decent quality, light construction, had the 3 piece locking mechanism (as this is better than other mechanisms offered on other razors in this price range) and good value.This razor fits my needs perfectly, solid metal construction, for and finish is good, the black Matt finish is well done and the logo is cleanly etched. The weight is good, feels reasonably hefty which is nice.Blade loading is nice and easy, using snapped DE blade and the mechanism holds the blade tight. The razor shaves well, the blade exposure is minimal so reduces the risk of the razor biting. The weight is good, hefty enough to let the weight do the work but light enough to make is easy to use.For the money this razor is hard to beat, even when compared to others in the higher price brackets. If you’re interested in getting into traditional shaving this is a great place to start, or like me you wanted to add something easy to use into your shave den.

Well made and I've been using it a couple of months. Holds the blade well and feel heavy and well made in hand.

When this item arrived I was pleasantly surprised as to presentation of the product.I had a problem finding safety razor blades to insert so I could use the razor.Perhaps it may be useful for sharply could insert a blade.But OMG when I inserted the blade, I could not believe how close a shave I had. Over the years I have used lots & lots of different razors.But I must say this is the best & closest shave I have ever had. Yes it takes a few uses to get used to using the razor. But perseverance is certainly the key to the best shave of your life. I am so glad I found this razor.

Quality materials. Easy to change blades. The handle seems a little bit small for my hands but that may be just me. For the price & as a cut-throat newbie I'd recommend it.
