Downgrade from previous redington wading jackets
This jacket is a downgrade from the previous versions of redington wading jackets. There's no cuffs on the sleeves to prevent water from going up the sleeve.

Great jacket
This wading jacket is awesome, fits great .Have been wanting a good wading jacket but didn’t want to spend $400 for one. This is a great jacket at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

... this winter but my impression of this jacket is great. True to size
I'll update this review later after I use it this winter but my impression of this jacket is great. True to size, I ordered a large (I'm 5'9" and around 200lbs) The fit is not baggy yet leaves enough room for layering. The jacket looks to be very well made given the price. I would expect this quality in a $400 jacket. Plenty of room through the shoulders and arms which is great for casting. Very simple and understated design that doesn't scream "wading jacket". You could easily wear this around town or while traveling. My only negative comment about the jacket is that it does not have any inside pockets. However, I am very impressed with this and think Redington has made a solid, bombproof wading jacket.

Solid, Totally Waterproof
This is a great jacket and is fully waterproof. Obviously it isn't gore-tex but it's pretty close. Think breathable fishing wader material made into a jacket.

Don't buy Redington cloths
I bought their top of the line rain jacket 2 years ago. Wore it on two trips. An external pocket zipper fell apart on the second trip-clearly a manufacturing defect because I did not stress the zipper. I called their customer service and to my amazement they do not warranty their clothing. Period. I would stay away from their clothing and waders!
