I've moved and no longer have a fireplace so this little shredder is perfect for shredding my documents, you do have to fold them in half so they fit but it's easy to wind the hand crank and get the documents shredded which this does nicely. If you are shredding stuff daily I'd get something more substantial. Very simple but effective design.

This is not crosscut as described it is strip cut. Box would be large enough for cross cut but not strip cut. I wanted cross cut for security and already have strip cut. Requested a refund which was received.

DOes the job...very good value for money.
