The Illustrated Stories of Akbar and Birbal (Classic Tales From India)

I was pleasantly surprised. The book itself is great quality, the stories are written in simple English. I had a great time reading them to my little one! we both enjoyed the book.

The stories are very poorly narrated...insipid and lacking a narrative arc. Such a shame because the Ambar Birbal canon is a classic, and makes for great story telling if done right, as many of us may recall from our childhoods. Very disappointed with this. Better ones definitely exist, and I will return these and keep looking.

Fun stories to read. My grandkids, whose father is from India, throughly enjoyed them, and so did he. Great illustrations.

The media could not be loaded.  A wonderful and interesting storybook containing 20 stories with 80 colorful pages. My kids liked it very much. I got it for Rs. 175 on Amazon. Worth purchasing.

Best purchase.... I don't write reviews generally... But for this i had no option... Wonderful book.. My 5 year old love this story book.. Got it in 175... Will definitely buy more to gift others... MRP is not mentioned anywhere on the book.
