This thing takes FOREVER to grind off just a little bit of salt powder. I dunno how you can really market it as a salt grinder. It’s very small and it seems like theres no way to hold onto it. It dosen’t really grind off rock salt at all, it is thick and sturdy and looks nice, just not very useful for actually grinding rock salt.

Love it! This is very elegant looking yet sturdy. It fits very comfortably in the hand and guests seem to love the experience of grating their salt. It looks so pretty on the table as well. The salt is very fine so it can be difficult to see as you grate it on some foods. You can let it collect on the grater (there are just sharp "teeth", no holes), then tap and sprinkle it to get a better visual. This would make a nice hostess/host gift. I plan on buying a couple more to keep on hand for this purpose.

Item is well made but small...

I bought this to hold a chunk of Himalayan rock salt for the table. It looks absolutely gorgeous on this grater. The grater is very fine which is nice because I find you do not need to use as much, lowering my salt intake. The fineness of the salt seems to really bring out the flavor, too. I'm seriously considering buying this for Christmas gifts, adding a nugget of Himalayan salt. What an elegant gift. It just looks so pretty!

It’s a very well made Salt Grater and easy to handle. I bought it to use with a variety of Rocks of Salt purchased in Ireland.. Great product for this application.

This handy little salt greater fits perfectly in your hand and grates the salt nice and fine. Very good quality steel, easy to clean and slips into your kitchen drawer.

I love having this little trinket around. Having this and actually grating the salt itself makes dinner and get togethers feel so fancy. I love grating my own salt for steaks and burgers. It's a nice compliment to the pepper grinder.

Worked better than I thought as I was worried about small size. Very solid. It broke up salt to a perfect size and ideal for small or large amounts of grating. Worth every penny.
