William & Watson Edison Vintage Large Globe Squirrel Cage Dimmable Light Bulb, 40W Amber Old Fashioned Retro E27 Screw Fitting Lamp (Globe Large (G95))

The media could not be loaded.  After accidentally smashing my previous spiral filament bulb, I was hesitant getting this straight filament version. I'm glad I did. The straight filaments give the bulb a modern industrial and appeasing look. Would recommend over the spiral version.My only concern is that at 100% brightness, the filaments clearly vibrate (see video). It could be down to the cheap dimmer on my circuit which at 100% still creates spikes on the AC current, but it's not a good sign for longevity. Luckily I only ever run the bulb at 30% (max) brightness for a beautiful warm glow and the filaments don't vibrate, so not an issue for me specifically.Would recommend.

I got this bulb the day after I ordered it with Amazon Prime.. and got it as a replacement for my previous smaller Pear shaped Edison bulb in my bedside lamp. And I must say what a great upgrade. This bulb is absolutely spectacular. The crossed filaments in the round glass looks just beautiful.I also highly recommend using them with a dimmer. if you got a dimmer switch like I do, it is truly magical to dim it down at night. Loving it..

Shape and filament was perfect for what I wanted but (and this is personal to me) I don’t like the amber glow.It would look perfect in a dark room with dim lighting, I am wanting cool glow with a bright light for a white room so unfortunately I won’t be keeping itMarking it poorly because I don’t like it. Many others would !

I searched a lot for light bulbs. I'm a photographer and I care about the colour of lights. This light bulb produces a nice warm colour and the shape goes with the style I was looking. I was concerned for the delivery but the seller packed properly and had no issues or whatsoever.

Look's realy good in my Palm tree lampI can't answer about longevity as i have only just purchased. Promotes A nice warm glow.and good size.

Used this bulb in a brand new light fitting in our hallway. Was on for approximately 4 hours one evening and then the next day it would not switch on. The bulb had blown.Unfortunately, I purchased in September but only fitted the bulb in November due to redecoration, otherwise I would be requesting a refund

One of the light bulbs had an air bubble and a hole in the glass, the other one is severely scratched. Alas, I didn't expect the bulbs to be defective; and - woosh - one of them blew the fuse in my table lamp. Not trying out the other.Quite disappointing.

These bulbs were actually really nice. But one of them broke within 10 minutes. Such a shame, but would not recommend.
