30 40 mmHG Graduated Makes Difference
These sock hose are excellent. They improve blood flow in an injured leg of mine that is prone to swell.I have tried other stretch hose but none so effective as these medical type 30-40 mmHg graduated. The mm is a measurement standard that stands for the millimeters of mercury and indicates the level of pressure. The graduated pressure is in this specification a low of 30 at the top of the sock and the high of 40 at the foot. Of course I had no way to tell if the advertised specification was present, but by the visual result of only one full day of wearing the aid, I am convinced that it was performing well within the parameters. They work fine for me. Are easy to hand launder, and they dry quickly.Price wise, they might seem a little high for one pair of socks, but it is results that you are seeking not quantity or odor reducing copper fibers. Those socks are also compression but for my needs these socks are better. These are real compression hosiery. They do the job. I found them to be comfortable, and yes, they look good on my leg when my pant leg creeps up. Nothing is evident that you are wearing a compression stocking.I am giving them a resounding Five GIANT Stars because they are well made, work as they should..and the results contribute to the overall value and rating.Get them, you wont be disappointed. Be sure to pay attention to the sizing chart when ordering.

Tight Fitting
I still have these socks and will keep trying to use them. But they are very hard to get on and off. They will work for other people am sure. But I have more swelling in my legs than most people so it hard to get on socks of this quality. I recommend them for those of you that have a need for the higher compression socks.

Well made, strong compression, keep leg swelling down.
These are the only compression socks that actually keep ly legs from swelling. The 15-20 ones don't apply enough pressure, but these 30-40 ones work great. They're a bit of work to out on and take off, but they're very comfortable once they're on. Plus, they're reasonably priced.

The Good! The Bad!
I've probably tried every pair of compression socks available for compartment syndrome in my calves. Prefer them to the uber-thin pantyhose/trouser socks-like compression socks. They are more supportive + at least initially give me impression they will not stretch out as quickly. These socks also have a more comfortable cottony texture. Foot especially is more comfortable as medium-thickness sock base provides boney areas on foot bit more cushion from shoes than uber-thin socks. Several people had mentioned socks run small? I disagree, if we're discussing the foot area size. I wear a women's size 9 + the size medium ordered based on size chart was pretty perfect + could easily be stretched over slightly larger feet too.2 things I don't love about these socks:1. Sock shaft area covering calf + shin is too long. Obviously, as with all compressive garmets, sock must be carefully stretched as we put it on over calf but it stretches way too much vertically. Instead of appropriately ending just below my knee it pretty much covers my knee.2. The very top band of sock is quite tight, more so than rest of sock. I hope band itself loosens up, without losing desired compression in calf. Because calf shaft is so long, this ultra-tight top band is hitting behind my knee. Pressure on MCL + LCL very uncomfortable. I have to carefully adjust sock down below knee to be able to wear garmet, but ultra-tight band is still pretty uncomfortable, but slightly more bearable for a while. Pressure from top band leaves a lovely line on leg several hours after wear. Think manufacturer possibly making SML size differences only in the foot part, forgetting that SML adults likely have differing lower leg length?

Nice firm lasting compression
I love them. I’m not crazy about the color pattern, but if I wear them under long pants, it’s fine. They keep compression on my legs all day long.

False advertising
These compression socks are advertised as being extra wide at the calves. This is completely false. In reality, they are very narrow -narrower than regular compression socks.Avoid.
