PG Tips Extra Strong Tea 80 Bags

Once you drink PG tips you will never drink another brand of tea! It's no wonder the Brits love it. It is Rich and satisfying unlike many watery teas.

Mea culpa- I am an American barbarian about tea. My taste buds are suspect, I have no pallet... All of the above. I drank strong, over broiled green tea getting off my coffee/caffeine addiction. So saying, I like this tea. I brew it (gasp) by the bag (... uh, barbarian, hello); drinking it without cream or sugar. I have the water at precisely 190 degrees and steep for 4-to-5 minutes. I do not wring the bag. I do let it cool for a few minutes. At that point I find this tea to be flavorful with a slight woody taste I really enjoy.It seems expensive but this is 80 bags. Even as much as I drink a day it is cheaper than teas I must double bag to taste.

This is great tea and very smooth.

I love my afternoon cup of tea. That’s why I got this. Have tried regular PG Tips, but thought I’d try Extra Strong. It was good. What bothers me is that the picture shown on Amazon for PG tips Extra strong is a red box. But the box I received is a white box with a purple lid. I am not sure why the discrepancy and I’m not sure if I received the authentic extra strong PG tips. Also, the box was damaged and there was tea powder all throughout the packaging because there was no bubble wrap. Has anyone received a white PG tips box with a purple lid? Why would it be different from what is shown on the site?

PG Tips has been one of my favorite teas for quite some time. When I saw that it cam in Extra Strong I was delighted. And if you enjoy strong teas, as I do, you will not be disappointed. This is fabulous!

I tried the inexpensive teabags but as we like strong tea this tea is the best.

This is very good. Of course, I'm an American, so I have only had tea with strings on the bags. (Why on earth do we make tea like that?)Anyway, loved it and I will be buying it again.

Really like these tea bags, they don't seem to have a bitter taste even if they have been overbrewed. Much better than standard PG tea bags. Bought as a pack of 6 boxes which worked out much cheaper than the supermarket as well. Package arrived in good condition with no dents or tears.

So hard to find in the shops!The best tea, great flavour and great value!

Boil Kettle, let it go off boil, add to teabag in cup pouring on bag, add sugar/sweetner and leave for 2 mins, remove teabag , add milk or whatever else you put in and drink. I worked in PG tasting labs and this is how they brew the perfect cuppa. !
